Choose your Username. For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either). Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security
Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.
DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.
DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

**UPDATE 4/26/2022** Effective with the May 6, 2022 PIR 4 guests will be allowed. Still must be fully vaccinated to attend.
**UPDATE as of 11/10/2022 PIR vaccination is no longer required.
**UPDATE 7/29/2021** You now must be fully vaccinated in order to attend PIR:
In light of observed changes and impact of the Coronavirus Delta Variant and out of an abundance of caution for our recruits, Sailors, staff, and guests, Recruit Training Command is restricting Pass-in-Review (recruit graduation) to ONLY fully immunized guests (14-days post final COVID vaccination dose).

Ok, I just got my form letter and my daughter is in this division. Since one was not started for this group, thought I would start it! I am so excited to start writing letters and passing her address to the 25 family members that want it! LOL Anyone else in this division? My daughter left on Tuesday 5/8 from Cleveland MEPS!

Hello . My Daughter Jamie is in the Div. Just received a letter the other day . She too has made friends & says that helps. We are from Syracuse NY and she left May 9th. Have you checked out our Div Facebook page yet ?

sounds like they are all making friends and helping each other through out this life experience which is great I'm a little jealous LOL , but soo happy they are coping and having a good time, they will never forget these times . i was speaking to a friend (age 75) who was a marine all those years ago and he still remembers his navy year with fond memories.

Yes they will never forget !! My father was Airforce , His father Army, . Have Uncle Airforce and another Uncle Navy :) Love hearing there storys :)

The stories are what makes me worry sometimes too. I was a Navy wife for many many years myself, 2 stepsons Army & Son in Law is a Marine. Their boot camp stories worried me to death! When my son sounded good, happy.. it was like a huge pressure lifted & been much easier since I spoke to him.

We received finally received the long awaited phone call (approx. 20-minutes long) from our SR last Fri. 6/1. He sounded good! He says that they keep them very busy all day long, the food is pretty darn good, and we probably wouldn't recognize him because he has burned off any fat and built up muscle. Looking forward to his PIR date of 7/6/12!

Good point VangieL Ship09 Div209 :) There were some not so good stories too. Have not gotten the phone call yet but her father did & was just happy someone heard her voice & she was doing ok

Yesterday, we received two more letters from our SR! YooHoo! He says that they are constantly busy with several chores at once and his body is sore from the physical pace of boot camp. All is good though since he is able to communicate home a little bit more with letters and his first long phone call (last Fri.). Looking forward to his next phone call and/or letters! Come on 7/6/12!
