Choose your Username.  For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either).  Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username.  While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Make sure to read our Community Guidelines and this Navy Operations Security (OPSEC) checklist - loose lips sink ships!

Join groups!  Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself!  Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility. 

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.  

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

**UPDATE 4/26/2022** Effective with the May 6, 2022 PIR 4 guests will be allowed.  Still must be fully vaccinated to attend.

**UPDATE as of 11/10/2022 PIR vaccination is no longer required.

**UPDATE 7/29/2021** You now must be fully vaccinated in order to attend PIR:

In light of observed changes and impact of the Coronavirus Delta Variant and out of an abundance of caution for our recruits, Sailors, staff, and guests, Recruit Training Command is restricting Pass-in-Review (recruit graduation) to ONLY fully immunized guests (14-days post final COVID vaccination dose).

amazing your son lost 65 pounds my daughter is graduating the same day and she worked really hard at getting in as well. she had to stay under weight and some weeks that was real hard.i did not prepare myself as well as i thought either. if you need to talk im here

My son is also Ship 09 Div 216!!! I can't wait to see him, finally got a letter last Friday...looking forward to hearing more from you!

Hello..Im also looking forward to seeing my son! I miss him so much! I also got a letter and it was very positive. That was such a relief for me..I hope to get on soon and chat with everyone. I was such a mess until i got his letter that i neglected everything around me!! So this i've been playing catch up..Hope to talk soon.. 

My son is also ship 09 Div 216, he is a wonderful young man that gets along with everyone!!!

 

Got a letter last night. And a phone call today from my son! Im one happy Momma..He sounded good and said everything was going great. He said they have been lucky not to many in our Division were sick. Going to book flight and hotel this weekend any ideas on places to stay? Would like to see Ya'lls stories if u would like to share. Hope everyone hears from there SR and has a great weekend!

I also heard from my son and he sounded great, and also got a letter Thursday from him. I miss him soo much. They are in a great division.

Snoopy.. Thats Great you heard from your son!! And yes i also think they are in a great Division! From what my son says. I finally booked my flight and hotel today. Gonna Try the Ramada Inn I Hear they have a meet and greet there on thursday night before grad.. for family members.. Hope to meet some of Ya Before or at grad..My son says he has met some really great guys..You never know our Sailors could be friends :) Ya Have A Great Week! And Cant wait to see my sons Face!! Soon We all will See Our Sailors Faces!!

Has anyone taken a look at the pictures taken randomly of recruits, the website is http://www.facebook.com/NavyRecruitTrainingCommand  believe that one of the pictures is DIV 216, I believe my son is toward the back. Please check it out and let me know if this picture is DIV 216.

 

I Look everytime they post pics havent seen any yet they comment that its 816 in stead of 216 but didnt see my son..would like to.. so ill keep looking :) if i see any ill leave post on here as i hope ya will..

My husband and myself really believe our son is the one towards the back, let me find the picture and then I will let you know, maybe we just wanted it to be our son, if  this is not DIV 216 then it's just our wishful thinking
