welcome aboard Renee we are all waiting patiently for the Sailor call. Can't wait to meet you at the M@G, and Merry Christmas to you to.....Michelle

Welcome Renee..Merry Christmas to you..waiting..long night for me but it will be well worth it once we get the call..

Hi Renee!  I don't think I've ever waited soooo long for one phone call.  The anticipation is killing me!!!  Wish those "I'm a Sailor" calls would hurry up and get here!

We did it ladies!  We all got Sailors!  Let the celebration begin!  Congratulations to everyone!  Merry Christmas to us all!

Yahoo...I am so happy for all of us!  Merry Christmas!

They did it!  We got the call yesterday.  The first thing he said was he's been up for 48 hours.  I said is there something else you wanna say.  He said "Oh yea, I'm now a sailor in the United States Navy!".  I am SO PROUD!  Only 9 more days till the best hug ever.  Div 23 is wearing red scarves. Should we wear something so our sailor can recognize our section?  Any suggestions?  I think name tags at the M&G would be a great idea, too.   Congrats to all the sailor's of Div 24 (and to all the Mom's that raised them)

Renee :)

I think that is a good idea, but no one else jumped on it, How about a different color. Navy colors are Blue and Yellow or Gold we could go with one of them. Let me know what you think and I will relay the information to those who are on the Facebook page. There are about 10 of us on there not sure if they all are on here though...But I definiatly want to wear something

Sorry Michelle, I kinda let the scarf issue fall off the table.  My son told me the flag for div 24 is red on one side and blue on the other.  Then a bunch of colors on the design (you know, bad-ass!)  Since div 23 is wearing red should we go with blue?  We need to make a decision quick, not too many shopping days left till we leave to go see our Sailors!!  Woo-Hoo!

This is a different Michelle, but I would love to know what color of scarf to wear.  When the decision is made, could someone please post it on the FB page.  I look there more often.  Thanks!!!!!  My step-son is in this div too.  Also it looks like sunny and 39 for next Thursday!!!!!

ok lets do Navy blue I will spread the word on facebook and you guys can tell whoever you talk to. another excuse to go shopping again.

Navy Blue it is!!!!!   I can't wait to see my sailor next week.  I also can't wait to meet all of my new wonderfully supportive Navy family!!!!!

i might make a fleece or crochet a navy scarf :-)
