Is everyone planning on going to the Meet and Greet's on the 1st?  There are two, which one do most people go to?  There is one at the Ramada and Sarge's Meet and Greet?  I don't know much about either one except for what is posted.

I am going to the one at the Ramada,   I figured I would rather go to the one at the hotel since I really don't know anything about the area and do not want to get lost.   I am thinking about renting a car for 1 day Saturday so we can explore.   Not sure what they offer as far as the shuttle to different areas.   But we are most definately taking the shuttle from Ramada to the Graduation.   My friend had an SR there and she said she thinks they go in a different entrance for drop off.   Which would be a benefit considering my mother walks with help of a cane sometimes.

Also...No letter yesterday either   :-(

Melissa, I think that is what we are doing too.  I have 5 people coming and the bus would probably work best and we are renting a car but probobly easier than trying to park.  Eric's recruiter told us it wouldn't be a problem to have more than 4 people since a lot of people come and only need 2 tickets and there is always room.  Better be since we are coming from Maine!!!

The SR's can put 4 people on their list.   The 5th person will have to wait in the welcome call until everyone else is seated then they will allow them to go in and find a seat.   This is what I was told.   It is only going to be 4 of us so far.   Not sure if my dad is going.   My parents are not together and they do not really get along so I am not sure if he has decided yet or not.   I am going to call him today just to see if he plans on going.

We have 6 peeps coming for PIR. My SR put down the 4 but I will need 2 more seats. Will attending the Meet and Greet at the Ramada Thursday night. It's over early and then pop over to Sarge's meet and greet. As with you all, I really would like a letter. I finished a letter last night to my SR.

He knows her by that and it is a natural thing.   My son calls his grandfather grampa reece,   has since he could talk,. his proper name is Maurice, hense where the reece comes from.  We just never corrected it and my kids are his only grand kids.   He is a step grandfather and is so proud our SR went in the Navy as he was a Navy submariner as well for 20 years and did not marry my mother in law until late in life so has no kids of his own.

I am anxiously awaiting the mail lady!  She is going to honk her horn if she sees a letter from him so I can run down the driveway!!  LOL.  We are staying at the Comfort Inn in Waukegan and we will arrive on Thursday.  I booked 2 nights, does anyone know if your child is staying at Great Lakes for "A" school what kind of Liberty will they have over the weekend?

Where are you located?  We live in NW Indiana, its not snowing here yet and I just hope we don't get as much as they say.

mail came and went, no letter today sadface.

Bummer. My mail runs around 3:30. Sad face

I didn't get a letter today either, bummer!! maybe tomorrow.
