DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Welcome to the Division Discussion for Divisions 245 and 246

These two divisions are brother divisions and will be training together from the beginning through BS21 their final test. Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.

Get to know each other, your SRs are!

Please still use the Main Wall of the PIR Group to post questions, and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion area as often as we would like.

Every single question that is asked is important Every single concern is genuine Every single member is important to us We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.

Hang in there!!!

Jess' Wife- Congrats on your call!!! How was he?

Doing great! Sounded great! Gave me lots of info on dates etc of all the final stuff. It was awesome to hear from him. ;-)
One week from today we leave for Great Lakes!!! Emotions are crazy! I'm excited, anxious, nervous and just plain crazy to see our son!!!

This is my first signing in.. My Son is on 09/245.  I cant wait to see him. I feel the same way you do Jesmom.

How do we find out the pass code for parking pass download

You need to ask your SR if you don't have your form letter.  The password would have been written in by your SR.

Anybody else having major issues getting the password to work? Every time we've tried it (uppercase, lowercase, different spellings, etc) it says "password incorrect". We've basically just decided to utilize the shuttle services instead!

Love2Sign251 - Are you using the password from the form letter that you received in the beginning of boot camp or the one that was put on the last (?) letter you received? The one on the form letter worked for me - all caps. The newest one didn't seem to work for anyone.

The Meet & Greet info is at the top of the PIR 6/28 page.

Hope this helps a little!

GrantsMom:  I posted a comment on your personal page.  Tomorrow is when the last of the I'm a Sailor calls should be coming in.

Also, we are not allowed to post the SRs' last names on this site, so if you don't mind, go back a page from here to your post and click the "x" in the box to delete it.  Sorry about that!  If all of your questions have not been answered here, please repost them without using your SR's last name.

Thanks so much for that info! We figured it out and go the pass printed. :)

Good morning.  Just wondering if anyone whose son/daughter is graduating on June 28th has gotten a call from their sailor that they are graduating?  I have not gotten a call yet.

245 and 246 should be calling today! Woohoo!!!!
