i got a letter today too.  it's the first one that has made me cry like a baby:

"But seriously getting to call you and Ryan gave me that boost that I’m gonna need going into this week.  We have fire fighting, final PFA, final academic test and gas chamber.  It’s gonna be crazy!  I put another letter in here for you to type to Jessica (please!).  Anyway, your amazing and thank you for helping Ryan get everything taken care of as far as the Uhaul and moving and everything!  And thank you for sending me letters all of the time too."

jessica is her sister that's on deployment.  i type the letters cait sends me and email them to jes and jes emails me letters for cait and i print them out and mail them.

Awwww:))) love your heart! I know how ya feel girl! But its not long now!!! Thank Goodness:)))

i'm getting so excited!  i just typed and emailed her letter to her sister.  she told me in an earlier letter that i was a genius for thinking of that.  she actually sent her sister a real letter to the ship.  its so funny.  they usually text or talk to each other every day, sometimes several times a day.  now they're having to do it the old fashioned way (well, kinda, lol).

i've got so much planned this weekend with my grandson to make the weekend go by faster.  i'll miss not seeing him next weekend but it's well worth it!!

see ya in a week!

Hey all you div 267 moms, just wantted to let you all know I am thinking of all of you this week and next. All of your kids are  in my thoughts and prayers,"GO BATTLESTATIONS" I hope they all make it through happy and healthy.I will especially be thinking of you all on the 19th.It's now a bittersweet day for me but I wish you all the very best.Give your sailors a hug for me.Keep in touch I don't post much anymore but I am keeping tabs on everything.               -Ruth
that's so sweet ruth.  i'm thinking of the other moms too!  so close!
Has anyone got a phone call today? Im hearing from other divisions that our division were making calls and just trying to see if it was true! And the other divisions said that we won captain's cup!
I haven't received a call
No phone call here either. But I am sure if our SR's could have.. they sure would have =) not long now fellow SR PARENTS=)))) and I CAN NOT WAIT!!! ;-)))
nope, no call.  and since SIL is working i don't know if he got one or not but i do know if he did it was after he got to work since i gave him a ride, lol

Alright, i guess maybe its a rumor cause i have not seen any people from our division post that they have gotten a call. It was other divisions saying that they were calling.

I'm thinking those were other divisions call.

It's my understanding 267's Schedule should be:

  • Saturday (yesterday) - Captain’s Cup Game
  • Sunday -  Some PT, but mostly a Rest Day
  • Monday - Regular Routine, but not as vigorous
  • Tuesday - Regular Routine, but not as vigorous
  • Wednesday - ?? Battle Station ?? **Possible phone call**
  • Thursday - ?? Battle Station ?? **Possible phone call**
  • Friday - Graduation

Hopes this helps, see you at the Meet-n-Greet!!
