Choose your Username.  For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either).  Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username.  While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Make sure to read our Community Guidelines and this Navy Operations Security (OPSEC) checklist - loose lips sink ships!

Join groups!  Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself!  Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility. 

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.  

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

**UPDATE 4/26/2022** Effective with the May 6, 2022 PIR 4 guests will be allowed.  Still must be fully vaccinated to attend.

**UPDATE as of 11/10/2022 PIR vaccination is no longer required.

**UPDATE 7/29/2021** You now must be fully vaccinated in order to attend PIR:

In light of observed changes and impact of the Coronavirus Delta Variant and out of an abundance of caution for our recruits, Sailors, staff, and guests, Recruit Training Command is restricting Pass-in-Review (recruit graduation) to ONLY fully immunized guests (14-days post final COVID vaccination dose).

My son called last week and I also got a letter. ( my seocnd) I guess they got in a little trouble some guys were talking to loud in the hall. My son said if they were good they would get a call and he called me last wednesday, letters have been going out only on Sundays. other then that my son says the group is good and the food isnt bad. he also said they have been doing alot of standing at attention. If I hear anyhting I will let you guys know, my puter was down for a week so sorry for the lack of info

Hello everyone! Any news this week? It's kind of quiet on my end, I miss my son :(
Nothing yet this week :( I wish they could call. I miss my son as well. I won't get home until 5:30 so I'm hoping for a letter today. I'm also waiting on my ribbons to show up. I'm excited to see them.
it seems like our division hasnt gotten to keep in contact with us much. UNLESS my son is calling someone else instead of me...hmmmm??? hahaha LOL.. It would be okay with me.. Hmmm?? lol
I have wondered the same thing about my son! I've received 1 phone call is all! So I'm thinking is he calling his friends? =) It has been a bit quiet lately. I cannot believe we have a little over 2 weeks!! I can hardly wait to see my son!! I will barely be able to keep it together! So proud! Thanks for your reply.

Oh just curious but my son has mentioned a few that he's friends with, just wondering if any of them are any of your SR's? I know Metzger he admires, he's mentioned Jackson, Harubin (sp?) any of you??

Lala makes the ribbons. she is on our PIR 8/10 chat. If you friend her she will tell you about them.
Did you ever find out about the ribbons? Now I want to know :) I friend requested a Lala but not sure if she is the one?? Probably a good chance since she goes by Lala Ribbon Queen :) but still curious while I wait to hear from her.
