I live about 35 minutes from GL, just got home no letter, have not heard anything since the form letter...Tomorrow is T-Day so no mail, hopefully Friday or Sat I'll get a letter.

oh wow... hoping for the weekend...

Heres an idea moms... Kev says he lives 35 min from GL... Lets forget the hotel rooms and all sleep at his house!!! HAHAHAHAHHA

That sounds like a plan to me.  We can all bring snacks and have a slumber party.   LOL

Ok moms! I've been mega bz today so finally getting online! Soooo excited! My older dtr went to her dads last nite & when I woke up this morning their was a copy of the form letter! Tears!! "Dad, tell my mom I love her" Then I just got a new letter just for me today. Whoo hoo! Guess what? He's the mail guy!!!!! I so gotta sendO letters!

Wow he is the mail guy....that is so cool  Yes send him some letter right away.  Isn't it so great to get the letter from them?  So happy for you.

Sorry kev-hi!

My son send me the adoption form. He knows I probably can't go but wanted my family back east to get. Unfortunately they live in Maine. Not as close as he thinks. Maybe some in our group can adopt him.

He says their division isn't the best so he's not sure about when they will get to call. He wrote the letter sat. Wonder if this means my letter days are Wed? If so, great hump day!
Congrats to all of you that received letters. I assume mine would have come today but with the holiday I won't get it until tomorrow. I sure hope so.

gmansmom- so he said their division wasn't the best? Did he elaborate on that at all? I just was wondering about that. Did he sound discouraged about it? Does he sound in good spirits? I sure hope I get a letter tomorrow. :) hope your day is lovely.
Mindy

Mindy,

I know when I talked to my son the other day he said he thought he was one of the worst recruits ever.  He said it is so hard to do everything they tell you as quick as they like.  My opinion is that they probably want everyone to feel like they are "not the best"  it is part of the mind games to get everyone to work together to be the best they can be.  Hope you have a Happy Thanksgiving.
