My daughter is also an HM. I heard the school in Texas won't be until some time this summer.....July maybe?
We have a friend that lives at the base and says that most of the HM instructors have already left for SA.  The official word is the last class at GL will start in April ~ graduating in July.  All HM classes starting after mid-April will be down in SA.
Good to know. Thanks for the info.
Ntz4laa when does your daughter graduate?
She just arrived this week, so I'm guessing 4/8.
My daughter arrived on feb 8th.
They'll probably PIR and go to A school together!
Awesome :)
Make sure that you check both the PIR 4/01/11 group and our group.  If you see anyone on PIR that belongs in our barracks/division... get them to move over here too. Once we start getting letters, we can find out who our kid is hanging out with and what their jobs will be (that's coming soon). I have started a listing of the Moms/girlfriends/Grandmothers/Dad's who are in our group(s)... still have more to list now that we have gotten a few more today!  Remember to send private messages to anyone that you want to be friends with... I have learned the name of two young men in the same ship/div as my son... So when I see soccermom 4/01/11, I know she is talking about______ and texasmom is talking about her son __________.  It's funny, one is the beginning of the alphabet and the other is then end! Mine is towards the end!  All three are biblical names too.
Quiltblue.....yes, my daughter is in 11/116. She flew out ot Tampa, FL on 1/17/11. Her "A" school is in GL as well. Thank you for starting this discussion. Btw, how do I friend you?
Hi Moms:
My daughter is in this division/ship.  She flew to Chicago on Feb. 3 out of Seattle.  They left a day late because of the big blizzard that hit Chicago.  She will be going to A school in San Antonio to be a Master at Arms.  Anyone else with a daughter in this division?  Or a son/daughter going to San Antonio for Master at Arms A school?
Navyjane..yes my son is also going to train for MAA in San Antonio. he is graduating 4/1. he is not on this ship though
