hello all - quiltblue posted links to questionaries on the ship11/div119 discussion page.  I have read through a few of them and they are informative and funny.  If you are looking for something different to send with your letters you can print them off and send them.

Can't wait to see if we get letters today!

mysailorson~no letter today for us :( maybe because of the holiday??? hopefully tomorrow!
I didn't get a letter today either.   Hopefully we will be full of info to share tomorrow!
Did we ever decide on a scarf color?
I don't know if we did??? I like purple...has that been chosen by another group yet?
Ran to the mailbox for nothing but bills :( I hope all went well & they were allowed to write! I really need a letter so I can chillax!!
Overtheedge, Bummer.  I was just sure they would come today!  My mailman has not come yet.  But I am not so confident now!  I guess that means we still get to look forward to tomorrow. : )

I did get a letter today!!!!   We have snow and sleet so the mailman was late.  My son is not typically a big communicator.  The first thing he wrote was thank you for the letters.  Most of the letter was funny.  It was good to see he has kept a sense of humor about it all.  He said Sunday's are best because you get a longer shower and the chapel is the only relaxing place around there!  : )

Surely you will get your letter tomorrow if you haven't gotten it today!  Let us know!

mysailorson..his girlfriend at Penn State College got hers, but we didn't. I'm hoping today is the day. She did share some info with me so that was nice. Do you know if our ship is doing the scarf thing?
Yes I think the ship is.  But each division is supposed to pick a scarf color.  I am good with purple.  Ky's mom and baileystars don't seem to have been on much lately.  Hopefully they will read and join us in the purple scarf.  We are supposed to decide by March 4th and let quiltblue know.  She is keeping track, I think, according to an earlier post on this discussion page.  Let's just go with purple.  Should I post that on the PIR 4/1/11 page?

So glad you got your letter!  Looks like phone calls have started 115/116 got theirs today so ours should be in the next few days?

overtheedge - Did you get your letter?

mysailorson~I got 5 of them!! It was nice. Each one gets a little different. I can see the progression of maturity in his writing. They pulled his wisdom teeth & a few of his front teeth that were injured in a baseball game. 36hrs to recoup with crap meds he said. UUGG...I can't imagine...
