Most Divisions start with 88...that's the average. Please see this Discussion:

SHIP/DIVISIONS ~~ What are they and how do they fill them?

My boyfriend is 11/132, he arrived on the 6th. I thought the same thing, that PIR would be 5/4, so that was a pretty great surprise. I'm already excited, now I can send all the letters I've written him =)

YAY!!!  I hope that their Div works well and we can get calls HAHA..

We received a phone call from our SR Michael on Friday.  Their division had their first PT test (the run, sit ups, and push ups).  They also had their Swim test. He said it is tough, but he is doing ok.  He said they get their first free time today(Sunday 3/18) from about 7 till 1.  So hopefully we will all be getting letters soon.  Micahel said he had earned this phone call by volunteering for something and knowing a lot of information (chain of command, etc).  Hope everyone hears or gets letters soon.

THAT'S AWESOME!!!!! My son is an ocean Lifeguard so the PT was the least of our worries it was EVERYTHING else that scared the crap out of us!!! Thanks for the heads up!!!! Hope we get letters soon!!!

Thanks for this post!

It's nice to hear information about my son's division.

Thanks, hoping for a letter this week.

DOING THE LETTER GETTING DANCE AND  PRAYERS!!! Hopefully this division is working GREAT together...If you hear anything HOLLA!!! :-)

Div 133 received calls yesterday and letters..hopefully we will get something by Friday!! I need a boost right about now!! I know this is hard on the recruits but I think it's harder on us..

We received our SR's letter today as well. :). It was a great 'pick-me-up after the last few days we've had.
My mom, his grandma, passed away yesterday. We sent the Red Cross message and I wrote him of course.
I considered not telling him for fear of adding yet more stress to the poor guy,
But his uncle who retired from the Navy said its better to find out now than to grieve and feel left out later
So we sent the RC message. Me though I worry, as I'm sure all moms would

The letter is exciting Stacie what state are you in?  Hopefully VA will recieve ours tomorrow then :D  I hope so! Miss my fiance!!

We live in Michigan.
