Oh that makes me feel better!  I am in Florida, so maybe today I will hear from my son today.  So sorry

for your loss.

So sorry for your loss. YAY for letter..I hope to get one soon..but i have a feeling the girlfriend will get one first..at this point i just hope someone gets something....

You would think with all the running around I do with Lacrosse ( my girls play) I wouldn't feel the emptiness so much..IT'S WORSE!!  When they win I get...I wish Kyle was here to see that...It's sad..but GOOD..

I understand that!  My SR is older (22), he had a year of away at college that he didn't care for, then a year at home job searching.   It's difficult.   Stay strong, you're obviously a great mom.

I rec'd my letter yesterday I live in Iowa.

YAY for letter!!! If you wouldn't mind, can you share any info? Did your SR say anything about teamwork, sleep, PT..Anything?? I understand if you do not wish to..I had to ask LOL

My brother's girlfriend received a letter!  I haven't gotten the details yet as she is on her way home to pick it up now.  I hope there is a letter waiting for us too!  Congrats on the letter @kimmyfromtheblock.  Hopefully I'll have some info to share later.

Got a letter today!  His gf did also.  Sounds like it's pretty rough. The division has already shrunk 8 people, and the whole division has to do IT.  On a positive note he loves the food and it's plentiful and varied. Just not much time to eat!  It didn't not sound like he had received any of my letters yet :(

He said that the cards mean alot, and he finally got his mail on the 17th. He said bc really sucks he will tell me details after graduation. He said he hopes he can make it through, I dont have any idea how demanding it is. Every move made you are judged and if your incorrect you get screamed at and have to do exercises. He cant wait for grad day...

He is gonna be 24 soon, graduated from college and played college ball so he knows the physical punishment a body can take, but Im guessing this is alot even for him. He didnt really give any more information. We just keep sending him letter telling him to hang tough.

Got two letters from my boyfriend today :D. He said that they already lost some people, but that means those that are left get yelled at less. It does sound like they're all having a tough time, but he said that Week 1 was at least easier than P-week, and he's starting to get into a routine. Hope everyone hears something soon! I'm in NC, so it can't be much longer for anyone else...

I got a letter and it was long.... My son is loving life. He's weapon po (?) and said he made friends with the food service people who are so nice. They gave him extra sherbet after they pulled 3 wisdom teeth.. That's my boy!!! Said the division had a few bumps but they are starting to come together. He said I will be so proud of him that he is so neat lol today is a great day!!!

I am staying at the navy lodge 26th 27th and 28th I forgot to add in his letter he can spend day with us Friday and Saturday he's been told. If anybody is staying at the lodge and in this Div lets meet.
