DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Jlynn--I am sorry for what happened to you regarding your sailor's call.  I don't know what line of work you are in but if it was a service I personally purchase now, I would never do so again if the company could not be supportive to this kind of situation.  I understand there are some instances where it might have been completely impossible or it may have compromised your safety- these types of situations are explainable but I've been in the world long enough to know that most of the time, accommodations can be made.  Forgive me if I'm out of line but my heart is with you.

Agree with Jedds!

Any news from Captains Cup?! So anxious to hear the results :)

Hahaha...my son and 3 buddies are in a picture on my facebook!!!  Boy are they having fun now!!

haha I think that my bf may be one of the boys!

It makes me feel so good that they look so happy and are able to finally have some down time!  Their reaction to finally having FB is kind of like the TV show Survivor when one team or person wins a feast and a massage!! LOL!

Lol Haha yes that's funny but I think it's nice for them to be able to relax. They all had a rough 7 weeks, I think they deserve to enjoy their-self! :) I'm so happy how far they come.

@Jedds - My son is in the top, right-hand corner of the pic. :0)

To see his little crooked half smile, brought tears to my eyes.  To think, after scouring the RTC facebook pix each week, we finally got to see them, up close and smiling!  The best smiles on all of Facebook, IMHO!

Can't wait for Friday!!

Aw :( I clicked on the link and it didn't work! I really wanted to see the picture.

Hi, I am late finding this group...my son is on Ship 11, Div 141 would I be able to find you on FB to see the picture?

the past couple of days have been awesome... I have talked to my son 3 out of 4 days now.  It has been great!

Where is everyone staying for graduation and is everyone attending Sarges meet and greet on Thursday?
