No letter for me today :( I was hoping since I am only a state away that it would come faster.
ah, that is strange...I would think that it would get to you faster also. what the heck is uppppp?! : (

Dad got a voice mail tonite from him. Said he only had a minute. Says he hasn't had time to write cuz he is so busy. He is having a good time, loves us all, and they are getting yelled at alot :)

I find it funny that "having a good time" and "getting yelled at alot" are happening at the same time. lol

Gotta make sure the kid has my phone number so he will call ME next time :)

I'm glad he got to call, I haven't left my phone out of reach all week! I'm glad he is "having a good time" even though they are so busy and are constantly getting yelled!
I just got a call ! He called the GF first... He sounded great! He has passed all his tests, he said he got a 92 on his academic test (he does not get that from me! LOL) He said the DiV got a flag for the Academics! He said the Div is GREAT and is hopeing they will be a Honor div. He thinks they can do it! He said he is going to church with a few other SRs and has been every sunday. He said they also do bible study together every night. I hate I did not ask what guys he is talking about. But he did tell me that they have all talked about us talking to eachother! They think we are CRAZY! LOL  I was so great talking to him! He said they should be able to call once a week. Im not sure if the RDC told them that or what but that would be great! Praying for calls for yall too!
GREAT to hear!! I just left a comment on your fb haha but I guess my SR didn't get to call tonight....maybe because he got to last week for security clearance? oh well, maybe I'll get a call tomorrow, or even a letter since I am sitting waiting on that also!
Hi all, Well we finally got a phone call from one of our sons tonight, and my husband, my sons girlfriend, and I all missed the call.  : (  That is what we have worried about since there is no way of knowing when the phone call is going to be!  But anyway, it was nice to hear his voice, and that they are doing well. Both him and his brother are together in BC and their rack's are across from each other. That made me smile. I took his girlfriend to a relaxing yoga class as we have been stressed out over not hearing from them, and would you believe it, that's when he called! Ugh...His group flagged a test, which was nice to hear. We finally get our letter's today too, and they said that 1st week they felt ready to quit, but now he says it is not so bad. I am going to strap that phone to myself for the next 5 weeks!!!!!

hmm did they both get to call or did just one? maybe the other will call, its like you have two chances for a phone call! haha  But I am sorry you missed the call, I have been waiting for one all night but nothing....At least you got a voice mail to listen to and a letter and you know that they are both doing well. I am happy for you Mary Z! : )

Thank you so much! It was just one of them. His brother was on watch, and wasn't able to call tonight. Hopefull that we get that call tomorrow! His girlfriend let me listen to the voice mails that he left on her phone too, and he said that he was doing well, but missed everyone so much. You could hear that he was choking back the tears since no one answered his calls  :-(  At least he will have his brother to convey our messages for him, and our love. We have all been sending them lots of mail : )

Hey, I hope you are all coming to the meet and greet at PIR because I really want to meet the Moms and wives of 11/180 who supported and suffered through this boot camp thing with me.  Julie and Ria, I fear your guys may have had watch tonight and I am praying they call tomorrow, first thing.

sure you can Julie.  It's at the Ramada, room for all.
