Wow ! thats great!

Has anyone recieved any phone calls today? I was hoping they would get to call.

Nope not yet.  I was also hoping to get one today but I just read that the first one is usually around four weeks.  It also said depending on the person in charge they might not get to call until the end to tell you that they are officially sailors.
oh GREAT !!!
My son's bestfriend went to Naval BC in early June.  His first call home came three weeks to the day after he arrived. I know the Division has to earn the reward as a whole.  Come on 350 meet those standards!!!
That would be nice!!!!!!!!!!!  Lets meet those standards!!!!!!!!!!

I'm sure they are all trying so hard. I know they want to talk to us as much as we want to talk to them.

Hey there-  just checking in with our brother division.  How is everyone doing here?  My son's is DIV 349.

Hanging in, thanks for checking.  How are you doing?  Have you gotten a phone call yet?

I'm still waiting for my second letter!  A phone call would be awesome!  They're almost half way there by now, right?

I got a call yesterday from an 877 area code, and although it didn't look exactly like the GL area code (847?)  I frantically picked up my cell phone - very disappointing!

The waiting for the phone to ring is painful!  We had open house last night for our two high school kids and I constantly checked how many bars my cell phone had.  I was so afraid I would miss the call...
I know....right???   I am afraid to leave the house in the evening.  I get mad at my husband if we are out and my cell goes dead and he left his at home.  Lol.  Poor guy.  We get really bad cell phone service where we live so I'm trying not to leave in the evening.  Assuming that the phone call will come at the end of their day. During the day I'm loooking on the computer to see if I can find any good travel deals.  So far Priceline has some good rates for combining hotel, car and airfare.  It is hard not knowing if they get to spend liberty weekend in Great Lakes or have to leave the following day.  I guess as long as I look at it as I get to see him the day of PIR and shouldbe happy.  Some time is better than no time.  I just want to spend as much time as possible.
