I remember this day well. CANT BELIEVE it has been a year . the ceremony was awesome. My son has graduated from 2 of the schools for NUKES . Im very proud of him and all other sailors. GO NAVY!!!
Congratulations to all our sailors and their families! One year ago today we were all thrilled as we watched our recruits become Sailors in the greatest Navy in the world! I hope that all are doing well!
Hey, Cheryl56 - It is amazing! I was looking at pictures of my son's Swearing In Ceremony at MEPS in Brooklyn! Lots has happened since then! My son is across the country and doing well, which is great. His ship is still undergoing renovations, so they won't be deployed until next year. Hope you are well!
Hi Ladies, just thought I would drop in and say...can you believe some of our sailors are celebrating their one year anniversary on being in the USN!!! I know I can't.This time last year I was psyching myself up to get through 8 weeks of her being at BC, and now here she is 1 yr later half way round the world on her 1st deployment,a lot longer than 8 weeks:P Hope you are all doing good and your sailors too :)
Previous photo is from PIR on 1-21-11. His sister is in the background, on the right. It was great to have him home for 10 days at Christmas - it went too fast!
Great Photo Philly.....enjoy him while he is there
