He said he ws doing great. Happy with the whole group.  Alot of guys getting dental wisdom teeth work done. not mine.  alot of guys had gotton over colds.  Including mine.  Great food.  He couldn't believe how many days he's been there!  Thats a great sign.  They earned a flag - can't remember why.  It was just so great to hear his voice!!  You will get your soon I bet!!
That is wonderful to hear :)

This is great news ! Glad you got to talk to your SR i am still waiting and hoping for a call but no news is good news he may have watch duty tonight but i am still glued to my phone. I am so thankful for all of you that got calls today and shared what your loved ones had to say at lease i am feeling a little better now that someone is getting some inside info as soon as i hear from my son will let everyone know what he has to say! Thanks again for sharing!

my SR is doing well, he freaked out when i told him that i knew some of the parents/wives/girlfriends of some of his shipmates in his division. He thought it was too funny! He told me to ask for the last names of your SR's so he can know who i am talking to and he can let them know. He raved about the food. He is getting along with the other SR's he sounded good. We also talked about the future... He told me that when he gets stationed (hopefully in San Diego where i will be going to school) he wants to marry me! So if everything goes as planned i will be getting married in about a year and a half to two years from now. I am so happy and just wanted to share with all of you!
Oh Cait thats GREAT news!! Congratulations to you both!  Dave said the same thing about my new on-line friends here... "who's mom's & girlfriends???" I'm like, I dunnoh, Cody's mom, a girlfriend named Cait & Lisa from NY.  He says, last names mom, we only do last names here. I was laughing through my (happy) tears, thats funny Dave, we only "do" 1st names!!! My SR is David Catlin. Cait, he grew up with every teacher calling him David Caitlin incorrecly reading his name and he hated that!! Too funny, huh?
