For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either). Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security
Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.
DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.
DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

**UPDATE 4/26/2022** Effective with the May 6, 2022 PIR 4 guests will be allowed. Still must be fully vaccinated to attend.
**UPDATE as of 11/10/2022 PIR vaccination is no longer required.
**UPDATE 7/29/2021** You now must be fully vaccinated in order to attend PIR:
In light of observed changes and impact of the Coronavirus Delta Variant and out of an abundance of caution for our recruits, Sailors, staff, and guests, Recruit Training Command is restricting Pass-in-Review (recruit graduation) to ONLY fully immunized guests (14-days post final COVID vaccination dose).

Welcome to the Division Discussion for Divisions 193 and 194
These two divisions are brother divisions and will be training together from the beginning through BS21 their final test. Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.
Get to know each other, your SRs are!
Please still use the Main Wall of the PIR Group to post questions, and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion area as often as we would like.

DIV 194 is getting calls this morning, have your phones close! We just received call from my SR she sounded so great and happy. she loves it. she also got a promotion. they had their first inspections too.

I received a call also. SR was very upbeat, passed his swimming qualification and had been standing watch quite a bit. Seems to be going well and has met several people who are "nukes" and heading to A school with him.

HI everyone,
My son is division 193. This is our 2nd time in 3 months with one in boot camp. My youngest had PIR 2/28. We stayed at the Navy Lodge that time, and it was very nice. We made a sign for the door (there we quite a few with signs on the doors), so will make one this time, too. I don't know if we will make it to the meet and greet, because we will be picking up his girlfriend Thursday night.

Has anyone received a letter from Ship 11 Div 193 yet? From their SR? I was told they can write on Sundays. Last 2 Saturdays she called . This week she had been sick, with flu.

We are 1/2 way there! Hope everyone has their plan set up. We have our hotel booked, we are working on the travel part now.... We are RSVP'd to the Meet N Greet, so hoping to see many of you there that night! Very excited for our SR's PIR coming up! Count down starts today.

My son is in Div. 194. It is Tuesday and we have not had a phone call from him in weeks. I thought we would have heard from him by now since graduation is Friday. Anyone else know when Battle Stations was and if you have heard from your sailor?
