Welcome to the Division Discussion for Divisions 395 and 396

These two divisions are brother divisions and will be training together from the beginning through BS21 their final test. Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.

Get to know each other, your SRs are!

Please still use the Main Wall of the PIR Group to post questions, and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion area as often as we would like.

Every single question that is asked is important Every single concern is genuine Every single member is important to us We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.

Hang in there!!!

Wyatt(Ship11Div396) 1st full phone call... What an awesome day!! It was so good to hear Wyatt's voice and know how well he is doing. I can finally relax now for a few days anyway.... :)

My daughter called home today (Div 395). She's frustrated at the fact that her clothes are "too big". I told her to suck it up, she's not in a fashion show. Other than that, everything is fine. She cried a little and when she got it all out, she sounded much better. We were so happy to hear from her and she was happy to hear our voices.

WooHoo got a call today.  He sounded very positive and upbeat, said everything was going great and it really wasn't too bad.  He said hopefully they might get to call again in 2 weeks, but not sure.  Its been a great day!

Good morning all. My name is Kathy and our sonTyler is on Ship 11 Division 396 as well. Has anyone had a normal phone call from their loved one yet? We did receive our first and most welcome letter Friday. It was so good to hear from him. Now we are just anxiously awaiting that long overdue phone call. Hope it happens soon.

We got a short 5 minute call yesterday.  Great to hear his voice!

Trivia Tuesday is Tomorrow!!! Ok Moms tomorrow is the day. The trivia question can be posted at anytime tomorrow. Keep those computers up and  FB open. I want to see my sailor and I know y'all do to.. We can do this. I have complete faith.....

I'm plan to try my luck at Trivia Tuesday!

Good Luck everyone on Trivia Tuesday. Let's win this as we all want to see our loved ones. Go Navy Ship 11 Division 396

My daughter Kayla is also in Ship 11 Division 396.. I received my first letter on Friday, but no call. Does anyone know if everyone on Division 396 was given the liberty to call. I am hoping to received a call from her this week. Also I would like to sign up for the Sarge Dinner on Thursday, how do i do that? Thx and God Bless Julie

My son is Wyatt. He called Sat. at 1:30 on Sat Texas time. I just assumed everyone got to call, but I have read there is different reason sometimes when SRs don't get to call. She could have been on duty when other people were off. Wyatt said he wouldn't call again until the 21st. I would definitely keep your phone close by. I hope you get a call soon. I know how upsetting it is waiting. I hope my information helped and you get a call soon. I asked Wyatt about Kayla, but he said he doesn't know any first names. I thought that was funny because we don't know any last names... Good luck...

Hi TxMom21, Thanks for the Information regarding the phone calls. On my last letter to Kayla I mention some names to her and also told her that I have been communicating with some of the moms on Navyformoms.com, but it never dawn on me that they only know each other by last name lol. Kaylas last name is LAOROSA.  I take my phone with me everywhere. What area code came through when Wyatt called? I am really looking to seeing my daughter on October 18th, But I am also really looking forward to meeting all the moms I have met on Navyformoms.com it sounds like alot of them are booked at NAVY LODGE which is where I will be staying too. God Bless Julie

Julie,

I did get a phone call from Colt last Saturday. It was for 5 minutes. He was very homesick and I hope to get a letter this week. The only one that I have received is the info letter. Hopefully he will call this Saturday and be in better spirits
