I called her recuiter to let him know that I got her box and he gave me her address which made me even more happy, cuz now I can send all the letter i wrote to her, which makes it easier for me emotionally. I would really like to get in touch with any parents who have a son or daughter in the same division and ship as my daughter. Thx julie

Since you have a Sailor, you can change "Waiting to leave for Boot Camp" above to "Enlisted." What is your Sailor's rating (job/specialty) going to be? There are groups for most ratings and/or "A" Schools and knowing that will help you to better plan for PIR weekend. Take care and blessings to you and yours.

My son graduated in September, I remember the most exciting time was during the pass in review (PIR) ceremony, when the "garage door" opens up.  The crowd goes WILD!

If you have any questions, I'd love to help.  I'm a Navy veteran myself.

Please like my group on facebook LINK, I'm just starting out and would love the support.

I also support “calls for recruits” from products sold on ETSY if you order soon I ship next day!

If you are traveling, wishing you a safe journey.

If you can't travel; be sure to watch the video link, it's the next best thing.

Hi Julie, I do the same thing, I tell Kaylina to always pray, and know that God is with her keeping her strong.  And I do send Kaylina bible scriptures that are talked about from our church.  She really enjoys that cause I think it makes her feel that she is still with us on Sundays.  I hope you hear from Kayla soon.  Just three more weeks, and you will get to see her, Yay!  God Bless, Lisa

Hi Julie,  I'm doing okay, yeah, but I have my ups and downs too.  Sometimes it will be so unexpected, that all of a sudden I will feel sad that I haven't seen my daughter in so long.  And I won't see her when she graduates from boot camp either.  I'll have to wait until after A-school to see her, around the holidays I think.  It's hard not knowing how she is really doing over there.  But I just pray for her, write encouraging letters to her, and staying strong for her the best that I can.  I got letters from her today, so that's as close to her as I'm going to get for now.  How are you doing today, and how is Kayla doing?  I hope you got a letter from her too.  God Bless Lisa

Hi Julie,  I am doing good thanks, how about you??  No my last name is not Wyatt it is Garcia so my son would be SR Garcia, he is Div 396 is that the Div your daughter is?  My son is the mail guy and he is the one who carry's the flag, so if she is the same Div then she probably does know him.  I have not been on this site much because I have joined the Navy 4 moms facebook page. only 3 weeks left of bootcamp what a wild ride this has been!  I can't wait to get that phone call that says "I'm a sailor".   Well let me know if your daughter is the same as my son.

Hi Julie,

That would be wonderful if Kayla and Kaylina could be roommates when they get to A-school.  Kaylina's dad will be at the graduation and her sister Jessica will be there too.  They will be staying at the Navy Lodge.  So if you see a man and a short girl, (she's 20), that will be them.  Both my girls are under 5 feet tall.  Hopefully, we can take a picture of Kayla and Kaylina standing together at the graduation.  God Bless Lisa

Hi Julie,

Yeah, Kaylina said she has her ups and downs, but she is settling in.  And having nice people around does help.  I'm so happy that you got letters from Kayla today.  Did you happen to see the picture of Div 396?
