Loni- The scarfs are to support our DIV so we have dedicated to wear gold scarfs. It really doesn't matter what kind u get, It the color that counts. We haven't received any phone calls since the last time they called. Ive been told by SR that They have Own a Flag already and have been practicing for the Graduation, Already. . . :) So everything seams good. And just remember 30 days to go :)

Hi Everyone,

Our son, Patrick, is in this ship and division.  I think the gold scarves are a great idea.  I will  be wearing one!  I can't believe it's only a month till graduation!  Have you been to the U.S. Navy Recruit Training Command page on Facebook?  There is a forum on there for "our" ship and division and their picture is on the page, too.

My husband, sister-in-law,14 year old daughter and I would like to go to one of the meet and greets, but don't know which one would be appropriate.  We are staying at the Navy Lodge.

Thanks for sharing about the scarves:)

Look forward to meeting all of you on February 2nd or 3rd.

Tracey

My mom and I decided to go to the meet and greet at the Ramada, as much fun as the other one sounds, I'll have my husbands two young sisters with me, and thought this would be more appropriate for them. :)

I am on the RTC Facebook page. I actually just started a facebook group for our ship and division, so that we would all be able to keep in touch there. I thought it would be a good thing. :) If you're interested, inbox me with your facebook info and I'll add you! :)

Im looking forward to meeting you too! I'm so thankful bootcamp is almost over. I want my husband back! :)

Cheers!

I have a FB page (Loni Cooke), I am not sure how to get to your page so could you add friend me? Please? Thank you...

So glad you could join us!! I'm looking forward to meeting you. :)

My nephew is this division also.

Great. :) Welcome Marcy!! :)

I don't know about you all, but I'm PRETTY EXCITED!!!! :) 29 days. I'm so proud of all of our SR's, and of us! We've almost made it through this. :) :)

I'm going to Sarge's meet and greet.  Sounds like fun!  Any suggestions where to get a gold scarf?  I checked JCPenneys site and the only one they had got a horrible review....sheds like crazy...that's the last thing I want to do to my son's uniform! 28 days!

Mine is more like a wrap, um, let me find a link to a photo - maybe check other stores like Macys? or Kohls?

Mine is from JC Penneys, but its not knitted like a scarf - I did see a gold knitted one there, it was okay, but not my style. Mine is  PASHMINA - which is a softer material.

and I wanted to remind everyone we went with the GOLDEN-ROD color - just so there isn't any confusion. :)

This is a link to one I found on Amazon. This is exactly like mine. Just look around and see what you find in stores. :) <3

Gold Scarf - LINK

anyways, I hope that link gives everyone an idea of what we're wanting to do. :) I also hope everyone likes the color. I think it will pop against almost anything we wear, and since it's going to be cold - I assumed we would be wearing darker colors.
