Anyone else? He left on The 13th and I haven't heard anything from him. It's just too early right?

Thank you for sharing. Let's hope that this kids all study for the test. If shiny shoes is what it takes for a phone call I might have to wait till graduation to hear my son's voice again. lol.

C'mon Moms....Get on U.S. Navy Recruit Training Command on Facebook.....They have a trivia question every Tues....1PM (Philadelphia time) We can win a picture of our Recruits during Boot Camp!! Lets go Ship 12 Div 074!!

Hi everyone. I am new to this group. My SR and boyfriend was originally supposed to graduate 2/10. However, we got a call today saying he has been moved back a week. :( He is in Ship 12 Div 074 now.

Hey! I'm sorry to hear he got moved back :/ But! Everything happens for a reason and maybe it's for the best :)

Great day! Got a letter and a call! He's doing so well :)

Finally got a call from my son last night.  I missed the call.  I was so upset.  The one time I was away from my cell phone.  I cried for a little bit.  I really wanted to talk to him.  Hopefully he will get to call again soon.

Am so sorry you missed his phone call.  I got lucky and was at my desk when he called. He said it was just starting to snow and that is a bit cold, but they have pretty warm gear. He also said there was about 93 in their division, and if you do not mind the yelling life is pretty good.  Food is not bad, but you got to be sure to eat a lot in every meal, becuse there is no snacking in between (he was used to eating all day). They are all asigned jobs. And training so far has been pretty easy.   I know is not the same as talking to your son, but I figure I share a little of mine with you.

my husband pretty much said the same thing...he said they are well takin care of and the worst part so far was getting his wisdom teeth takin out lol

Haha. My boyfriend had two removed too. Not fun for him.
