He did say how it's been intense and he is giving his 110% everyday...he sounded good in the letter...but he said that one of the recent days there was alot of emotions & quite a few guys crying....

I'll start sending something out every other day.
That's what I'm doing now too...in the beginning I sent letters everyday....and now it's every other day...I have other family members writing to him too....His girlfriend received 4 letters today!!   She shared them with me and he asked her to please write more...he really just wants to hear about the everyday things that go on here...it makes their day!
Does anyone have hotel reservations yet?  Even though we are a couple hours away - with morning traffic..it would probably take alot longer...so we are considering staying closer...haven't decided yet...any suggestions?
I made mine right after we got the form letter.  We are staying at Navy Lodge.
I've already made the flight and hotel reservations. I did it last week. We're staying at the Navy Lodge.
I was sending stuff out twice a week until i got the 1st letter.  He said they get mail every day, so i started sending letters every day.
I'm going to start really sending him them more I write everyday already but only send them Wed and I think he would probably like getting stuff more then just Fridays. I sure miss him :/
Just had a 30 min phone call <3

Hi my son is also on this ship/division - He called me on Monday April 4th because he aced his test and that if the division did well as a whole he would be another call on Wednesday. - he did call on Wednesday also but he called his girlfriend and they spoke for the whole 1/2 hour - disappointed but at least he got to call!

so upset, my husband tried to call for 30 minutes and my phone didn't ring once.
My son called me this afternoon at work!    We talked for a few minutes and then he tried his girlfriend, dad, no one answered...so he called me back!!  Then she texted me and he called her too....I'm glad he was able to talk to her as well...she has been missing him so much too.    He sounded good on the phone...I asked him if he knew any of the recruits with moms on navyformoms...but he said he only knows last names.
