HI Misty, Welcome to our group. Are you going to PIR? I wish we had more people on here from our division. YAY for you on your phone call last week, I didn't get one from my son. I haven't heard from him in over 2 weeks. I did get a letter last Thursday. A very short letter. It's different when they are writing to their mom verses the girlfriend. You know what I mean. Please share all that you can as far as their division goes, cause I know I am not going to get that much info from my son. I just pray they are getting it together and the phone calls start coming soon!!! I miss him so much. Good Luck to your boyfriend, I pray for the whole division every day. I know they will be fine. Keep in touch!!
Hello everyone! My name is Misty and I am new to the site. My boyfriend Bacilio is in this division. I miss him like crazy!! I did get a phone call from him last Thursday for about 10 mins and it was SO great to hear his voice! I also got 1 letter on the 10th (letter was dated 9/5/10), and about 8 more letters on Wed. the 15th! Apparently their writing is unsecured now so they can write letters at night. So he writes me a letter every night. :) This is so tough, but I know its a great thing for him!! Haven't heard if they are grad and go yet. Has anyone else heard? Looking forward to hearing from other parents or significant others of guys with Bacilio!
Well...still no letter today :( I got all mine last week on Wednesday :( Oh well...hopefully tomorrow! Did anyone else receive letters this week?
Misty, I didn't get any letters this week either. I got mine last week on Thursday. I wonder what the hold up is. Maybe tomorrow. I haven't got any calls either. Each day I wake up with a new hope that today will be the day. Then I go to bed disappointed.....Oh well, there's always tomorrow and only 21 more of them. Thank God!!
Well...I'm hoping today is the day for my weeks letters!!!! Fingers, toes, eyes...all crossed! :) :) No calls here either. I'm doubting there will be many more of those anyways. Bacilio said they don't care to let you call. I will be out of town this weekend so I'm hoping they come today and not over the weekend!!! Yes only a few more weeks! I'll be so glad when he gets to A School. Atleast then he will have a phone and can call! Amazing how much you miss someones voice! I know its a lil diff with a boyfriend, but still the same need to hear their voices! I will let everyone know if today is the day and what all he says is going on. Sure wish we had more moms/gf's on our division board!
Hello everyone! I received 2 letters on Friday! :) My boyfriend said that he thinks his division will go to classifications this week. Not sure what that is exactly, but he said he will then know specifics rather than just general info. I'm assuming thats when he will find out if hes a grad and go, etc. It was so good to hear from him. He said that time is going by faster and that he's so ready to get out of there and get to A school so he can hurry up and get home. He's just doing reserves, so I'll be so glad when January ends and he can come back home! Has anyone else received any letters or calls?
WAY TO GO 348!!!! Congrats on the Captains Cup win!!
Im so proud of those boys!! And when my husband first wrote he said they were so dysfunctional. So ready to see him and I'm sure all of you are too!
Can you all believe that in two days our boys and girls, husbands and wives will be graduating? They have hung in there and so have we. I cannot wait to see my son. I am so proud of all of them. Cannot wait for Friday morning to see them in their uniforms. See you all although we might not recognize each other.
I get two letters atevery week now and sometimes several per week.
HOOYAH 348! You can do this!!!!!!!!!
Congratulations 348 our new United States Navy SAILORS!! Couldn't be more proud!
Dawn- I didn't get to speak with my boyfriend today. They finished BS21 with honors? What does that mean for them? That is awesome! I am so proud of my boyfriend and everyone else in 348!!!!
