For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either). Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security
Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.
DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.
DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

**UPDATE 4/26/2022** Effective with the May 6, 2022 PIR 4 guests will be allowed. Still must be fully vaccinated to attend.
**UPDATE as of 11/10/2022 PIR vaccination is no longer required.
**UPDATE 7/29/2021** You now must be fully vaccinated in order to attend PIR:
In light of observed changes and impact of the Coronavirus Delta Variant and out of an abundance of caution for our recruits, Sailors, staff, and guests, Recruit Training Command is restricting Pass-in-Review (recruit graduation) to ONLY fully immunized guests (14-days post final COVID vaccination dose).

Received a long letter from our son, it felt so good. He took his Navy Seal physical test to get a tryout for buds and passed. I am so happy for him, he is living his dream.

@springfire-NOW that is awesome news! Such an admirable accomplishment... thrilled for you! The Seal team is such a close family, we have many friends we are blessed to include in our extended Navy family who are Seals, it takes someone very special to dedicate their life to the work they do, you have every right to be proud! My SR also mentioned his closest friends are from Cuba, Africa, and Texas. He said they have come together from all over the world. We received two more letters yesterday, and news of letters to his friends, and grandparents has also gotten back to us...Have a great weekend!

When I spoke with my SR, he mentioned that there are 87 in their division, unless I miscounted, there are about 6 of us on here...just wondering where the other 80 or so are???

Justin said he is friends with Blake from Georgia. I sent them the parent questionaire at Justin's request. I guess his friend liked it so much he wanted to send it to his family. He said they are struggling a little due to several recruits having colds. They can't stop fidgeting while standing at attention. This too shall pass.......

More letters came in the mail today. Our Recruit has a new best friend, Taylor. Justin has achieved Petty Officer 2nd Class. Does anyone know what this means and can he lose it? I'm just proud of him for the achievement. Anyone else hear about their Recruits' achievements or awards?

My boyfriend called tonight for about ten minutes, but called his mother....so I have not be able to talk to him besides in letters. I guess I am going to write him a letter and put my number in it.

Received a few letters from SR, he seems to be doing good. He is definitly in a learning mode, learning to do things the Navy way. They have some hard weeks ahead but they all seem up to the challenges. I wish them all the very best, God bless them all.

Hello everyone! I am hopeful that we have someone in our Ship 12 Division 356 who is good at Navy trivia. On the bootcamp site on Facebook they do trivia on Tuesday and Wednesday and the winner gets a division photo on Facebook. I haven't done well so far but I was trying. Division 360 won this week, hopefully we can win next week. Would be great to see our division.

I need help...I have never had to plan a trip before. I'm trying to firgure out if we should drive which is about 1,440 round trip or fly up to GL. Here is my problem I have never been on a plane...yet. I also will be traveling with two young children(7 and 1) and maybe my boyfriend's mother. I know it is like three weeks until PIR and I should have already done this, but between his mother and I can't figure out which one we would like to do.
