OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Welcome to the discussion group for divisions 347-348.

These two divisions are brother divisions and will be training together from the beginning through BS21 their final test. Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.

Get to know each other, your SRs are!

Please still use the main wall to post questions, and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion groups as often as we would like.

Every single question that is asked is important
Every single concern is genuine
Every single member is important to us
We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.

Hang in there!!!

Margaritaqueen, if you are on the FB RTC page, search members. My name is Yahaira H. Don't know if I can write my full name on here.
Last week to receive a letter and get to read it before we get on a plane for Chicago! :)

I just discovered that the parking passes for PIR are now available for download!   We are getting close :D

My son's on the ship 12 div 347, too!  I just printed out are parking passes.  We can't wait to see our sailor!

I've got my cell phone on Loud Ring today hoping for that phone call my son mentioned in his last letter.

Hey everyone. I have the Battle Stations date for DIV 348. Don't know if anyone has it already or posted it but I guess just ask me if you want it!

Hi jadehalcon. My son is in Div 347 and I believe that they go together. What is the date?

Jadehalcon Can you private message me the bs date? Thanks
Jadehalcon...so u know who I am, we were just chatting thru FB. Army of prayers has been activated!!

Maybe you've read this before but thought it would be appropriate given the circumstances. YH

Father, in the coming days, I will need you, but my SR will need You more! Let her perform her tasks with a sense of duty, not of anger or vengeance. Let her reflexes be quick and her hands steady. Let her head be clear and her eyes sharp.

Let her mind and body be strong and her spirit stronger. God, please stand by my SR and watch her back when she cannot! Father, I love this SR of mine! Take from ME what she needs and give me what she does not. I will pace the nights, if it means she gets some sleep. I will deal with fatigue, if it means she will have energy. I will carry her fear, if it means it gives her courage. I will take her pain, if it means she is healthy and whole. I will take her anger, if it means she is at peace. Take my love and pride and let her feel it! Let her know that I am with her every step of the way! Please, take from me what You can; I give it willingly and with love. It is all I have besides my prayers. Above all, please help my SR to achieve her goal of becoming a United States Navy Sailor! This I ask on bended knee, that which I cannot do without YOU. Amen!

Yay! Our sons, daughters, husbands, boyfriends and girlfriends made it through the big test. Its a good day! Thank you Lord!
