Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security
Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.
DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.
DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

**UPDATE 4/26/2022** Effective with the May 6, 2022 PIR 4 guests will be allowed. Still must be fully vaccinated to attend.
**UPDATE as of 11/10/2022 PIR vaccination is no longer required.
**UPDATE 7/29/2021** You now must be fully vaccinated in order to attend PIR:
In light of observed changes and impact of the Coronavirus Delta Variant and out of an abundance of caution for our recruits, Sailors, staff, and guests, Recruit Training Command is restricting Pass-in-Review (recruit graduation) to ONLY fully immunized guests (14-days post final COVID vaccination dose).

These two divisions are brother divisions and will be training together from the beginning through BS21 their final test. Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.

No letters here yet, form or real. I sent off a packet containing my son's absentee ballot and driver's license on Tuesday and received delivery confirmation that it arrived at RTC yesterday. They should be able to write tomorrow. I think that it still may be a little early for phone calls, hope I'm wrong.

I wonder where your form letter is cheifdad.
Hopefully they get to write real letters tomorrow. I sent my son one of the questionairs so i am hoping to at the very least get that back lol

Hello my son is also Ship 12 DIV 30. That is great that you sent your son a absentee ballot we are going to do that also! I hope we hear from them soon. I guess "no news is good news"

My son is also ship 12 DIV 30. No letter yet and we are all missing him terribly. We are driving from Texas to Chicago for graduation. Where are you located?

I live in fla so I'll be flying & I'll be 6 1/2 months pregnant! I still haven't gotten a real letter.

Today is my son's girlfriend's b-day. Even though I would LOVE to hear from him, it would be nice if she got a quick call. Even though they are 19&20, they have been together since they were freshman in high school. So I have a question, where is everyone staying for PIR ?

Has anyone received the Thanksgiving form letter they have been talking about in the main group?

not yet but it took 4 days for my form letter to get here. I am glad they are doing it my son was hoping they would. I just wish we lived close. but if none are left behind then he will get aa chance to go with someone :)
