Welcome to the Division Discussion for divisions 047 and 048.

These two divisions are brother divisions and will be training together from the beginning through BS21 their final test. Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.

Get to know each other, your SRs are!

Please still use the Main Wall of the PIR Group to post questions, and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion area as often as we would like.

Every single question that is asked is important Every single concern is genuine Every single member is important to us We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.

Hang in there!!!

It looks like they are the night before PIR.  Where did you see listings for 1-4 graduation?  I have  only seen thru Dec 28th.  Where do you sign up?  Or do you just show up?

to hele ship 12 div 48,  Got a call because he needed some info for an additional reference as one that he initially gave is going in the seals program soon.  the second call was to verify that his twin emailed the info he needed.  Other than that we have gotten nothing but the initial call and his box.

Got a letter yesterday!! He is well and doing good so far.  His writing was so neat that his friends could not believe he wrote it.  We all got lots of laughs about that. The address was different than the form ;\letter, is that normal?  Signed up for the Sarges Meet and Greet. Taking the train from Colorado.  Booked on the 1st just in case of delays, so may be there a day early. Staying at the Navy Lodge.

My son also goes to Pensacola, was going to be an ET but they switched it at the last minute to IT (I think that is right, Computer communications).

Hi everybody!  Just stopped by to check out the TG discussion site.  I rec'd my first real letter from Dave on the day before Thanksgiving.  Eager for another one.  Or better yet, a phone call.  Haven't heard his voice since the "I'm here" call.  Can anyone pls tell me how to sign up for Sarge's meet and greet?  Thanks!

Got a letter on Friday from my son.  His friends were amused at his neat penmanship.  The address was different than what was on the form letter.

Hi! Received my first real letter on Friday :)  Can't wait for the first phone call. This second time around seems to be much harder, maybe because of the holidays coming up, but defiantly having a harder time with my 2nd SR in boot camp.

Got a second letter.  A long one this time.  He is missing home and his family.  Got a pay grade raise and smoked his first PFA.  No phone call yet.  He apologized for that.
