Welcome to the Division Discussion for divisions 061 and 062.

These two divisions are brother divisions and will be training together from the beginning through BS21 their final test. Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.

Get to know each other, your SRs are!

Please still use the Main Wall of the PIR Group to post questions, and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion area as often as we would like.

Every single question that is asked is important Every single concern is genuine Every single member is important to us We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.

Hang in there!!!

I guess I'll start the discussions in here.  My daughter is in Division 061.  She mentioned 062 in her first letter home and said she's made some friends already.  She told me a bit about the RDCs that run her division and 062's and says that so far she is doing well.  I'm hoping a few others from these divisions post here too!

Hi, locogirlp!  My daughter is in 062, so maybe she has met your daughter and made friends.  I know of a couple of other moms who are div 062 as well - @SouthCarolinaProud and @marmayes.  Maybe we will find more!  Did you get a call yet? I finally got the 1st letter yesterday.

Hi JLMom!  I imagine that all of the girls in the divisions have at least looked at each other across the room!  My daughter told me a few last names but I won't be posting them here, of course, since we've been advised not to (and with good reason.)  Her bunkmate is from Rhode Island, I can say that much!

Hi Ladies, I got my Letter on Thursday and it was great to hear from her... she too spoke about her bunk mate and was very happy that they are becoming great friends.  she said she was from Florida and her last name starts w/ a P.  they both will be heading to A-school in Pensacola.  they will be on different bases, but at least they will travel together

Just wondering...is there anyone else out there that has a son in Ship 12 Div 061? :)

Everyone on this Division Discussion, that is within this TG all with the same PIR date, has an SR in either 061 or 062. Some have added their recruits divison number next to their username so they are easier to spot. :-)
