Hey ladies, I hope you don't mind that I moved our page to our PIR group.  I read where we need to do this so that the other page can be cleared for the next group.  Plus this will be easier to keep up with!  lol  Hope you all are having a great day!

OK, 330 moms, I am a 326 mom and yes we got calls today. Believe me, I started to cry when I heard his voice and then told him I promised myself I wouldn't do that and I stopped. I had a few things I needed to ask him written down, carried it with me all day in case he called while I was at work or away from home. The caller ID may say "Withheld" and if it does, ANSWER IT!!! My call lasted 18:39. It could have been an hour but our division has a couple of "problem boys". So you will probably get your call, it just won't last as long as you would like it to. If you get an hour, hurray for y'all. My son said he would call me in three weeks, and that is exactly what it was. Some of my questions were: Has your division won any flags? Do you need stamps or a calling card? Let him/her know that there are letters in the pipeline. They love it that it is possible to get mail at every mail call. Also ask if they have a job in their division. It was so great just to hear his voice and know that it is getting better every day. Here's hoping for long calls and happy SR's.
Thanks Elaine! Glad you got your call! And if it is exactly three weeks from when they arrived then I should get mine tomorrow! Which would really be better since his father is at work tonight! So I guess I will continue to wait! lol
My stomach is in knots now waiting. You could tell me I won the lotto and I don't think my reaction will be as big as the one I have when I see that 847 number ring in. I wish I could go to PIR. His friend is going to try to go and take my place. We both sent letters telling my hubby that his buddy wants to go. So we are waiting for him to switch us. I wish that phone would ring...
So sorry you can't go to PIR! :( When did your husband arrive at GL????
8/10/2010. He did indicate not to expect a call til the 1st so that would be 3 weeks for him too.
Good morning Ladies! Hope everyone has a great day! Maybe our calls will come today!!!!!!!
In a big meeting at work most of today... so Im freaking out a little. Gotta put the phone on vibrate and pray. Can somebody text me if 330 starts getting calls? :) 719-287-6912. Then I'll know to be on standby! I hope we get calls today...yesterday was rough staring at the phone!! I got nothing done last night. Hopefully the N4M police don't come after me for putting my number in here... desperate times call for desperate measures! LOL (I am laughing at how neurotic I have become.... who knew it would come to this!!) I think back to like the 1940's when people waited for snail mail and telegrams and party lines! Technology is both a blessing and a curse!
You got it MtnMom! I think I am about 1 hour ahead of you! My mother was in CO a couple of weeks ago on vacation! Oh I hope we get those calls!
Okay gals, lets all collectively WILL the RDC's to allow our SR's to call home today! lol. Like in The Men Who Stare at Goats. We can use our mental energy (key word there is mental, lol) and maybe we can get calls!!!

ROFL!!!

I have started writing down a series of questions for him...it's going to sound like a job interview or interrogation vs a call to his wife, lol!! I guess that's what you get for being all cryptic in your letters home! I love him, I do. But he's such a bewb! lol!!
Bellaboo I have been doing this since my son left and it hasn't worked yet! lol But maybe today will be the day! I sure hope so! I have checked my cell a 100 times today since I have to put it on vibrate at work. Sometimes I don't feel it vibrate in my pocket! Keep your fingers crossed! lol
Out of my meeting now :) I can put my phone back on the ringer (which is set to the theme from Top Gun by the way)...LOL Thanks for keeping watch Sondra!!! Now I can telepathicly focus my mental energy on the phone ringing!!
Calls should have started by now, but no one is posting anything so either they are on the phone with their SR's or...who knows. I am hopeful to get a call this week.

I am thinking tomorrow which is the date he gave me. Of course if the troublemaker(s) have been a$$hats than we might lose out on our call. But I am not going to think negative. It gives me a stomach ache, lol.
