Welcome to the discussion group for divisions 011 & 012!

These two divisions are brother divisions and will be training together from the beginning through BS21 their final test. Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.

Get to know each other, your SRs are!

Please still use the Main Wall of the PIR Group to post questions, and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion area as often as we would like.

Every single question that is asked is important
Every single concern is genuine
Every single member is important to us
We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.

Hang in there!!!

Praying for letters and phone calls for us all this week ladies! We sure could use them. I want to put my happy face back on.

I got 2 letters today from my SR they where written on different days. He sound a lot more up beat in these letters. He even asked for pictures of his sisters which shocked me. Leopard your heads up ladies it won't be that long now.

Yayyy I like that Leopard your heads up!! Never heard that terminology. So glad you got 2 letters and your son is doing well. Happy for you!! Woot Woot

Hi Everyone, I got my second letter today! I was shocked to get it and very excited and grateful all at the same time. My SR seemed to be doing well and in good spirits. He was excited he passed his swimming test!!! Praying more moms got a letter and/or phone call today.

My son is in Div 012, ship 13. We have recd 3 letters so far and 1 15 min phone call. That came on the 18th. My husband and I were so excited and very relieved that we were here to get the call. We are planning to drive from Baton Rouge to the PIR. Does anyone know if the SR's will be allowed liberty on Thanksgiving day? My son will fly out to So Carolina for A school on Friday, we're sure hoping we'll get to spend extra time with him.

I received my second letter this morning. Seems to me the Navy has not broken my son's sarcastic sense of humor. On the bottom of the second form letter, he left a little note. I said, "The unpredictable event was Thanksgiving who would have thought about that."

Good that shows your son is very very strong. I love it!!

I posted this on the pir wall as well but wanted to share you guys too. My sons bunk mate called me to tell me my sr had watch today and couldn't call so he took a few minutes of his time to tell me my son was doing good received his letters and loved me. I'm so excited! my new family! Thank you Moms for raising such wonderful young men!

That is wonderful!!! Love your pumpkin pic by the way.

Has anyone in this division received a phone call yet?  Ship 13 DIV 011

I am in the same boat...My son is in Div 011 and we have only received one letter and the form letter. Nothing else...It seems to me that there hasn't been a lot of communication from this division. Please any other moms that hear anything at all post it here. My stomach is in knots wondering why we haven't heard from him. I send two - three letters every week, even include a self addressed postage paid envelopes and still nothing....

Not yet still waiting did get letters over a week ago!
