Welcome to the discussion group for divisions 015 & 016.

These two divisions are brother divisions and will be training together from the beginning through BS21 their final test. Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.

Get to know each other, your SRs are!

Please still use the Main Wall of the PIR Group to post questions, and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion area as often as we would like.

Every single question that is asked is important
Every single concern is genuine
Every single member is important to us
We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.

Hang in there!!!

Good Morning navy Moms!

Only 5 more Sundays to go!

My son is Ship 13 Div 016.  We are from Texas and his younger brother and I will be DRIVING to Great Lakes.  Staying at the Navy Lodge.  Can't wait to see him :) ...I haven't heard from him yet.

Glad to be in the group....

Good morning.

Hey Pink. How are you holding up? How about you Amy and Kawilde?  I hope you guys are ok.  I wish I knew if our boys have made friends with each other. I will tell you that I heard from Gabe via a young man who was being medically separated this past Sunday.  When the phone rang and I a saw the number come up my heart did a little happy dance but just as I was about to answer I knew it wasn't Gabe calling.  When I answered a very nice young man told me who is was and why he was calling. Apparently, he and Gabe had become friends. Gabe had asked him to call me to tell me that graduation was moved to the 21st. and that I shouldn't buy tickets until the week before he is supposed to PIR. Then he relayed that He was doing fine and not to worry.  I thanked the young man and then told him that while I was sorry he was being separated I was also very proud that he had wanted to serve.

It wasn't Gabe but it was close enough.

Have a great day!

Kelly

Hello Kelly,

That has me in tears.  Good thing it was not Gabe. My son has called a couple of times to get some more info on his security clearance.  When I see that number on the caller ID, i just hope it is just  good news.

Amy, having this thanksgiving with you and his dad and his wife will be so special for your son.  Still have not booked a room, must do that today after work.

Pink, How are you?

Kawilde

Wow Amy, sounds like you have been reading pages from my book. Been there done that. I know how you feel.

Kellyd, thanks for asking how I am doing, it has been a really, really crazy week at work, I work on servers and when they are down, my life stops. But I am greatful to have a job in this economy so I am not complaining!   I have been keping up with everyone post and so glad that everyone is haning in there....looked up at the calendar and after tomorrow....we have 5 more wednesday left to go...on the 5th Wednesday we will all be there with bells on waiting to see out boys/girls!  Hugs to everyone :)

Picture on 10/16 on facebook on recruit training there are 31 of them, see if you can find your young adult

Has anyone with a loved on in DIV 015 or 016 gotten a letter yet? I got the form letter and then the corrected one. But- that's it. I swear- I run the mailcarrier down everyday then feel so disappointed! Since they write on Sunday- I am sure hoping that tomorrow I will get one! That is- if they are allowed to write yet!

I LOVE reading that people are getting letters. I love reading what your recruits say, too. Can't wait to add mine!

My son is in ship 13 DIV 015. I received a letter last week, but nothing as of yet this week!!! I hope you get one soon!!' I'm sure you will!!! :)
