Welcome to the Division Discussion for divisions 127 and 128

These two divisions are brother divisions and will be training together from the beginning through BS21 their final test. Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.

Get to know each other, your SRs are!

Please still use the Main Wall of the PIR Group to post questions, and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion area as often as we would like.

Every single question that is asked is important Every single concern is genuine Every single member is important to us We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.

Hang in there!!!

Trying to figure out how to keep in touch via these sites...son is Ship 13 Div 128.  He doesn't tell me much so gotta keep in touch some how!  Glad to find these resources!

My SR, son, is Ship 13 Div 128... I can't wait until PIR.  I miss him so much.

hey everyone....our son is Ship 13 Div 127.  I was just wandering if anyone has heard from their son or daughter lately?  We havent talked to our son since 02/16.  We did get a letter from him on 02/22 but thats been the last we've heard from him.  He's never been much on writing so we never expected many letters.  His PIR date, as far as we know is still scheduled for 03/22.  I've learned that no news really is good news but just worried about him. We were also wandering about gate passes to his graduation.  Do we print these off and will he mail them to us?  If anyone has heard from their child or knows how the division is doing please let me know or if anyone knows how the gate passes work I would really appreciate your help.  Thank you all so much.

Ebennett, no phone calls this weekend for anyone.  One the letter you got "the official one"  there is a password for you to print the parking pass.  We should be able to print them about 11 days before PIR

Here is the facebook page for our graduation https://www.facebook.com/groups/334073426696831/  Come join us.

oquendokim1, my son is also Div 128

Ebennet... My son is in Ship 13 Div 127 also. I got a letter from him Wednesday that he wrote the Sunday before. Sounds like he personally is doing well and he didn't say anything about anything going wrong in the division, So hopefully that means all is well! I know that this past week should have been hell week and it sounds like from others that we might not get another call until the "I'm a sailor" call. I have not gotten a call either since the 16th. Hope the info helps!

Thank you all so much.  Its so good to talk to other moms.  We are first timers at all this so I'll admit I'm totally in the dark.  I dont think we'll need a parking pass, the place we're staying has shuttle service to the PIR.  My father in law had found a website to print out Gate Passes and I didnt know if we needed to print those out or our son would send them to us?  Thank you so much for the fb link, I will definitely check that out.  DaltonsMom I keep sending letters and hoping and praying they are all ok.  I'll admit I dont know what hell week is but I can imagine its pretty bad.  I think you're probably right we probably won't get another call until the "I'm a sailor" call.  Thank you all again, I appreciate the info sooo much.

BarbRags....thank you so much for sharing the fb website....its great!!!

Hi just found this site and became a member. my son is DIV 128. Miss him so much can't wait for graduation. never been away from him for more than six days his whole life.

hey 1sailorsmom.....welcome to the group.  my son is ship 13 div 127.  I know you miss your son terribly.  I miss our son more each day.  Sooo very very proud of them all, but looking very forward to seeing him on the 22nd.  I am definitely counting down the days.

Getting my flight and hotel stuff together just wondering about shuttle from airport to hotel since I don't drive and plan to stay at hotel with shuttle for graduation. Any suggestions? Saw that for regular shuttle it's 59 dollars per person or 87 for limo for up to six people. Was wondering if anyone knows about this and is willing to go in together for this option so we can all save?

Call SARGE!
