Welcome to the discussion group for divisions 325 & 326. These two divisions are brother divisions and will be training together from the beginning through BS21 their final test. Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.

Get to know each other, your SRs are!

Please still use the main wall to post questions, and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion groups as often as we would like.

Every single question that is asked is important
Every single concern is genuine
Every single member is important to us
We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.

Hang in there!!!

eeek--so sorry they are still not quite "with the program."  Is your son in 325 or 326?

326

Well, his letter was dated last Sunday, Sept. 9, and said that Thursday, Sept. 13 would be week 4 day 1, and he said that is when "Hell Week" will begin. So if your son said something else, then I dont know.

Thanks for the info.

Ok--it seems like most of you are 326 moms and there aren't many from 325.  However, I think we can assume that their training is in tandem.  My SR is not much of a letter-writer.  The last letter was 8 sentences.  He keeps saying that he doesn't know what to say.  Good grief--the kid is on the biggest adventure of his life and is learning a whole new way of looking at the world, and he has nothing to say?!?  Truth be told, he just doesn't like writing, I think. (whine over)

ANYWAY...he said that he got a 5.0 on a recent test, but didn't mention what it was.  Any ideas what test that might have been, anyone?  Supposedly he gets 2 extra phone calls because of the score, but he said he doesn't know when he'll have time to make them.

thanks,

Most everyone from Div 325 is a member on the Cardinal Company 2012 group and that is where we post most of our comments, so if you haven't joined, please do. (I think I remember reading that you're Cardinal Company.)

Have'nt heard from my son in a while, I suppose no news is good news!

same here.

Insurance Question

According to his recruiter, once RTC starts I can take SR off my health insurance.  However, this is proving to be nearly impossible.

First they wanted proof that he was in fact in the Navy.  I had no proof except an empty bed and a form letter.  Recruiter sent his contract.

not good enough

They want a copy of his insurance card.

I am so frustrated.

How on earth is he going to get that to me? It's not like he can just run to a fax machine or computer and scan it.

Has anyone else run into this?  What did you do?

I sure don't want to pay to insure him until open enrollment in January!  (insurance is expensive!)

Got a phone call from my SR this evening.  Ship 14 div 325. Sounds like he has a cold. He has passed all his inspections.  Can't wait to see him at PIR!!!

Thats wonderful!

Great..Wish I could hear my SR's voice..I hate letters.
