Welcome to the discussion group for divisions 325 & 326. These two divisions are brother divisions and will be training together from the beginning through BS21 their final test. Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.

Get to know each other, your SRs are!

Please still use the main wall to post questions, and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion groups as often as we would like.

Every single question that is asked is important
Every single concern is genuine
Every single member is important to us
We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.

Hang in there!!!

It is nice to connect with you too!  Have you heard from your son yet?  We got a really short call a week after he left beause he needed some addresses for his security clearance.  He said he wasnt allowed to talk about anything personal because it was a business call only, but I didnt care, it was so good to hear his voice.  He sounded really good.  Now just waiting to receive his first letter.

That has been my experience also. My son contacted me briefly for some information, stated the same thing. But your right to hear his voice was a thrill, and of course being his Mom I could tell by the tone of voice he was fine! My son graduated from high school, this past spring. He was my youngest child, Its a mix of  emotions, extreme pride, and the he's all grown up reality. Over all I'm doing well. I hope you are too. Yes a letter would be nice. Will you be going to PIR, Oct 5?

I received  2 letters from him today.  The first one only had 1 sentence that was dated 8/11.  It just said that he had been up for 2.5 days and that he was finally going to sleep.  I thought, oh ok.  The second one was much longer and dated on the 8/26.  He said they could write before that but that was the first day that they could send them, so hopefully you should get one real soon also.  He said that he was doing really well and that they had to wait almost a week before they started processing.  He got there on 8/9.  He said that he passed both his written and physical tests.  He sounded so good, of course I cried.  He is also my youngest and just graduated high school in June.  I also am so proud of him and yet sad that he is all grown up and now he is gone.  I am happy, sad all at the same time.  Yes my husband and I will be at PIR, Oct 5.  Are you going?  He also said that they sould get phone calls soon. LOL, he did make me smile when he said that I was right, (never happens) that getting letters was the best part of boot camp. :)

Oh, thats wonderful, you got the letter's ! Our sons  are in the same position, just graduated from HS. Wow, awake 2.5 days, I knew it would be long, just think how strong they have to be to endure that. They arrived there the same day. Yes, I will be at PIR,with my family. I have not received a letter yet.  I'm happy for you. Glad our sons our together, I will communicate any new info. Take Care!

I got a letter from my son today. He is fine and said things are working out well. It was so nice to hear from him!

Oh, that is wonderful.  I am so very happy for you. :)

I just got a call from my son today.  He says things are going good.  He said that it was week 2 day 5.  He said that things were starting to get easier, they were getting into a routine.  He said that the division did really well on a test so they got a flag, for when they march, and that he got the phone call as a reward.  It was alittle hard to hear him at times.  In fact he hung up and called from a different phone so that we could hear him better.  We did at first but then he got quiet again.  I am so happy and hope that you get to hear from your son also.

I did, my husband & were talking a walk, and I said we should take the phone just in case! We were both elated. My son also said things were falling into place,  and he was meeting some interesting people. He told me something similar about what week they are in. Overall things were good with him! Yes a good day we got phone calls, and know our boys are doing well. Take Care!
