Welcome to the Division Discussion for divisions 097 and 098.

These two divisions are brother divisions and will be training together from the beginning through BS21 their final test. Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.

Get to know each other, your SRs are!

Please still use the Main Wall of the PIR Group to post questions, and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion area as often as we would like.

Every single question that is asked is important Every single concern is genuine Every single member is important to us We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.

Hang in there!!!

Hello my name is Jen Morrison and I am SR Wiggins' girlfriend. His parents have sort of left it up to me to get information from him and others so Ya I guess I count as family of Wiggins haha.

Lisa&John - yes please send me the link.  Thanks!

Got first call home. Max Neumueller 14/97 CTM

Everything is going really well. He loves it.  He did not need to get his wisdom teeth out, they are fused to his jaw! He said they have really tough RDCs and the other Divs are tell theirs that they really have their shit together! They are in what he called a compressed division. He had no idea what a push division was. Basically they are doing boot in about 6 1/2 weeks. They start weapons training next week. Lastly, he said he is getting our letters 2-4 days from the post date. It was so good to hear his voice. He sounds great and is very happy!

So glad you heard from him!  It's fun to see each other here and on FB.  Interesting about the compressed division.  Maybe that's why they are being so tough on them?

Has anyone received phone calls from ship 14 div 97 girls. Has been 3 weeks one letter no phone call. We are trouble about rushing out to the mail and waiting around he phone not wanting to miss anything.  I know they are in good hands but a month without talking is really trying.

Our daughter is in 098 - calls were supposed to come in on 1/10 but did not.

Are you part of our facebook group?

Hi cblondie, we did receive a phone call on Thursday the 10th from our daughter in div.097.
I wish I could tell you some news but it was a very very short conversation. We barely had time to say hello.
It sounded like they were all doing ok. I don't expect another phone but if I hear anything I will let you know.

Hello all, my name is Jeni  and my longtime boyfriend is in div 097. I actually received a letter from him today with some wonderful news that I'm sure all of you will enjoy if your recruits have not already told you. They earned the scholastic flag for test 1 so they must be kicking some butt. Also last week they got their second haircuts, he said they call it "high&tight"  Hope everyone is doing well. Hooyah!
