For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either). Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security
Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.
DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.
DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

**UPDATE 4/26/2022** Effective with the May 6, 2022 PIR 4 guests will be allowed. Still must be fully vaccinated to attend.
**UPDATE as of 11/10/2022 PIR vaccination is no longer required.
**UPDATE 7/29/2021** You now must be fully vaccinated in order to attend PIR:
In light of observed changes and impact of the Coronavirus Delta Variant and out of an abundance of caution for our recruits, Sailors, staff, and guests, Recruit Training Command is restricting Pass-in-Review (recruit graduation) to ONLY fully immunized guests (14-days post final COVID vaccination dose).

Welcome to the Division Discussion for divisions 105 and 106.
These two divisions are brother divisions and will be training together from the beginning through BS21 their final test. Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.
Get to know each other, your SRs are!
Please still use the Main Wall of the PIR Group to post questions, and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion area as often as we would like.

Hi Kandilee! My son is also ship 14 div 105. I spoke with him this past Monday and he sounded great! He also likes boot camp and is really looking forward to PIR. He told me div 105 would be the first to march into the hall. When "eyes right" is called, the division will turn and look directly at us. I just know I'll be crying the whole time...lol. I'm so proud of my son as I know you are of yours :) Take care and good luck to your soon to be new Sailor!

He's going to Meridian MS. He'll be an LS, Logistics Sepcialist. Nice that your son loves to cook! He can make you a nice meal when he gets leave :)

My SR is in Div 106. I got a call on Saturday too. She sounded good and she seems to be doing well. I hope to meet other parents at PIR. We will be staying at the Residence Inn.

hi Hope4best, I'm looking back through trying to find other's in div 106. My son is div 106. He is an EOD that got put in this division since there were not enough EOD to make a div. Have you heard from your SR lately?

My son is div 106. I have missed his calls on both Saturdays im so upset. Still waiting for a letter.

Carol in PA, my daughter said the division is coming together. She said they are doing okay. I think they got off to a slow start but are on track. If you want to private message me your son's name I'll try to ask my SR about him next time I hear from her. That way if you miss a call again I can let you know how they're doing. Hang in there!!
