Welcome to the Division Discussion for divisions 131 and 132

These two divisions are brother divisions and will be training together from the beginning through BS21 their final test. Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.

Get to know each other, your SRs are!

Please still use the Main Wall of the PIR Group to post questions, and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion area as often as we would like.

Every single question that is asked is important Every single concern is genuine Every single member is important to us We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.

Hang in there!!!

Has anyone here gotten calls from their SR in div 131/132? They had a test early this week I think and my dtr said they would probably get to call home if they passed.
No call for me this week :(

Hi there!

Got a call Saturday morning.  Son is in div 132.  We are planning on attending the meet n greet at the Ramada. Coming in from Maryland. So far only one letter though..  he was never much of a writer so that was a treasure.

I know what you mean camm3, my daughters letters are very short but I did get letter #2 today.  She told me she passed the test that she was worried about so that is good.  Yesterday I sent her one of the letters that you only have to circle answers or give a one or two word answer to so I'll see what she does with that, lol.  Never knew I would look so forward to one of her letters:)  I am going to Sarge's meet and greet.

Got our second letter today from our dtr who is in Div 132.  We actually decided to stay at the Navy Lodge.  I had read that some other parents had stayed there and it got rave reviews and you can't beat the price so, anyway I will see those of you that are going to Sarge's for the meet and greet there.  We have gotten 2 calls so far (the last 2 Saturdays) and she is a little homesick but otherwise seems to be doing well.  She says that after the live vaccines they got last week a lot of them are sick.  Can't wait to see her!

Hi all my son is in ship 14 division 131 and I can't wait to see him again, we are from San Francisco CA!

xiomara are you going to PIR?  My dtr is in div 131 also.  If you are going are you going to one of the meet and greets?

Yes and I would like to go to meet and greets but I don't know if we are going to make it because our fly arrived at 6:30 pm, do you think we will be able to make it? I'm going with my oldest son and my daughter and we are renting a car at the airport

Which airport are you coming in to? O'Hare says it is about 40 minutes away from RTC, Milwaukee and Midway are both about an hour away (I assume that is if the traffic is not bad and roads not icy).  It goes until 9 pm so you should be able to get there and meet some of us if you have just carry on luggage and if it doesn't take long to get your rental car. Not sure how far the Meet and Greets are from RTC.

My hubby is in DIV 132. Hello! :)

Hi navymrs! My son is in 132 ship 14, we are from south Florida. How about yourself!?

He shipped out from Kansas City MO. But we're originally from Central FL. :) Nice to meet you!
