If someone gets sent home; do they call to let you know?  I guess that's what they mean with no news is good news.

yes i have heard you would know if there coming home, in that case yes no news is good news

YEAH!!!!!!! Finally got a call! My son has been gone since Nov. 16th and this is th first regular call! Thank you, Jesus.

I received a call too!  Not being able to talk to my daughter has been the hardest part of this whole experience.  While she was at College, at least she could call, text and email.  I'm so proud of her.  Kaity went in on November 16th too.  It is interesting that they didn't start basic training right away...I can only assume that is because they didn't have enough recruits in the division?  Received a letter today telling me about this Facebook page and asking me to post pictures of her with long hair LOL!  That was tough...cutting her hair!  I've been wondering if we will get a phone call on Christmas...I sure do hope so!  May all of you have a Merry Christmas!

ditto! merry christmas and happy holidays to all!! i really hope to they get a call for christmas i would love to hear my husbands sweet voice

woo hoo you got your call on christmas!! I'm so jealous!! I'm hoping they all pull together as a division so they all can call home!! Merry Christmas Baby!!

Hi Michelle...I don't want you to be jealous, I don't think any of us got a call on Christmas.  My call was last week.  I'll bet we get one soon though...keep the faith!

Hey there Lauren....hope more join us.

Finally It let me join!! lol I would love to hear from our SRs!! I miss mine terribly....

Hi Ladies, just a reminder and to inform those that are new to N4M'S.

"OPSEC, OPerational SECurity, is always of the utmust importance. Please take the time to read the Opsec and Community Guidelines. A quick note here: Last Names are never allowed on this site. If it is different from your Recruits it is still not recommended. First Names and pictures of your Recruit are allowed but discouraged as their RDC's read this site and can easily match them up with their "mom". So you might want to consider changing your profile picture."

You may also read more about this on the N4M's site and why it is important.

Hope you all are doing good today! Hope you have a great week.

Hi all! Hope you are having a good week. However, if our calculations are correct it is "Hell Week" for our SR's. Week 4 Day 2, I believe. Let us keep them in our thoughts and prayers and maybe get an extra letter out to them. They will be going to Battle Stations before we know it! GO 02/910

"It is said an Eastern monarch once charged his wise men to invent him a sentence to be ever in view, and which should be true and appropriate in all times and situations. They presented him the words: "And this, too, shall pass away.""

~ Abraham Lincoln

Hi AutumnSunset and Group...Just got back from the post office...mailed another card and included pictures.  Hopefully pictures from home will make Hell Week a little easier.  At least I hope so!  I think I need to do more reading because I don't think that I've heard about Hell Week in the Navy.  I also have been unsure about what pictures to post...in fact, I don't know if this is the NavyMom site or Facebook...so to play it safe, I've decided to take my SR's picture off and replaced it with my horse Poppy LOL!  Let someone try and connect the horse to my daughter :-)  Poppy doesn't have a last name LOL!!!

Did anyone get a letter or phone call today?  I'm wondering what our kids did for Christmas.  Hopefully, they were allowed to worship and to some sort of traditional dinner.  Be well!
