Choose your Username.  For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either).  Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username.  While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups!  Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself!  Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility. 

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.  

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

**UPDATE 4/26/2022** Effective with the May 6, 2022 PIR 4 guests will be allowed.  Still must be fully vaccinated to attend.

**UPDATE as of 11/10/2022 PIR vaccination is no longer required.

**UPDATE 7/29/2021** You now must be fully vaccinated in order to attend PIR:

In light of observed changes and impact of the Coronavirus Delta Variant and out of an abundance of caution for our recruits, Sailors, staff, and guests, Recruit Training Command is restricting Pass-in-Review (recruit graduation) to ONLY fully immunized guests (14-days post final COVID vaccination dose).

My boyfriend is also in this division. His mom got his box and form letter last thursday, and he wrote a note in it saying it had been the longest day and a half of his life. So that means it takes at least a week to get from GL to here(near Houston, TX) so mail is sloww. Still haven't gotten a real letter, but everyday I pray it'll come. I swear the mail man thinks I'm stalking him haha He's AT or AE, not sure which yet, so A-school in Pensacola(only 9.5 hour drive from here!). Excited that its finally in the 30s as far as the countdown. Only 38 more days ladies!

hey Mrprov! I have a feeling our guys were given the opportunity to write us yesterday. Hopefully we'll get letters this week. Fingers crossed!

Im near houston as well! My hubby is in this division at is also Aviation Electronics Tech with Aschool in Pensicola =)

So I got two letter from my boyfriend yesterday! The first one he wrote was on the 14th which was Day 7 of bootcamp. He said he was exhausted all the time because of the 4-10 schedule. He said he's doing his best to make us proud. He didn't go much into detail about what was going on at the time. He was just being very mushy as always. He asked for an update on our dog (she had an ear infection when he left) and asked how all of us were doing.

The second letter was written on the 20th. He thanked me for the pics I sent and asked me to send specific ones that he favored. He said that had a diabetic scare but his blood work came out alright the second time around. He said the drill sergeants are a-holes. LoL Duh! Also everyone in his division was sick. He had a little cold but otherwise he was okay. He also said they don't read any of the mail. They just check to make sure the pictures aren't pornographic.

Awesome!  If you got letters, then we should be getting some soon! We are in Tucson, AZ.  We are not sure of our son's rate because he was still choosing between Nukes or Advanced Computers/Electronics Field, but leaning towards ACEF.  We are excited to hear from him.  Since we are all in Ship 03 Div 156, are we going to try to get together up in Great Lakes?  Our family is staying at the Quality Inn.  We get in to Great Lakes Thursday, so maybe we could meet that night and get to know one another?  What do you all think?

HI Everyone! My  husband is in this group! Just got my first batch of letters from him thursday! I was so excited. Had letters for everyday btwn the 14th and 20th! It was amazing to hear from him! Looking forward to sharing info with everyone!

I got the same! Makes me sad that it takes so long for the letters to get here, but thursdays are my new favorite days! haha
