I didn't get a phone call yet and it is getting late.  Has anyone gotten a phone call?

nope...when he called me monday he said they should be able to call as long as no more than 15 people failed the test. So im assuming more people failed, or the phones were busy today and they will call tomorrow.

i did get a call, but it was not very long. i do not know what happened as to the failing of the test thing. my boyfriend made it seem as if everyone was doing good. i hope you all will get calls soon! im just really confused as to why i was the only one to get a call. by now it is probably way too late bc they are in bed.

I can't really complain because I have already had two phone calls, but i was looking forward to this one...because he said it would be for an hour. O well im sure if I dont get a phone call soon the letters he sends out monday will let me know what happened

Aww, lucky. Countin down the days to PIR.

No call here. Pretty bummed about it but hoping for tomorrow.
I have learned to just go with things... if they say they will be able to do something a certain day in all reality with the navy it probably wont happen that way, but if it does then you have all the things in the world to be excited about. Motto for BC: expect anything and everything. lol. I hope he can call tomorrow too! I will keep my fingers crossed for you. I think the only time the whole division has the chance to call is at the very end, other than that everything must be earned! Today my call was not very long and he sounded rushed, so there must have been a reason why not everyone was able to call. From now on have your phone on you 24/7 lol and look for that 847 area code. always plan for the calls to be around 3 or 4 is what I have heard. I hope I was able to help some. Keep your head up girl!!!!
You're right. Expect the unexpected with the military. My brother is a Marine and remember him battling stuff like this. There's just a lot going on with our family right now that I wish I could talk to him about. And the kids miss Daddy and would be elated to talk to him. But I'm staying hopeful for tomorrow or the near future. I hadn't heard that the calls normally come around 3 or 4 so that is good to know. Are you going to be moving with your boyfriend after A School?
I understand about the whole family issue. My boyfriend dad passed away a month before he left. So this weekend is extremely hard on the whole family especially his mom. And its things like that you want to share with them. That's good to hear that the kids really want to talk. This weekend would be an ideal time too because its fathers day and i know how tough that must be on all of you. Again don't trust me about the 3 or 4 thing that's just what Ive always heard. Its the military for petes sake and the awfulness of not knowing whats happening in an hour is ridiculous to me. Lol. As for plans of moving out with my boyfriend after A school... It all depends. I am planning after i graduate next may to go get my doctorate of physical therapy which is a 3-4 year program. So how the heck am i supposed to figure all that out when application for next years fall start open next month!! We have been dating for two years. We have talked about marriage a few times before but he really wants to be financially set which is great. However it sounds like the ideal time to get married is now. Lol. Ive thought about giving up my dream but he won't let me. How am i supposed to go another 4 years without him Idk. Its crazy how everything worked out. He wasn't even going to go.into the navy now rather wait til he graduated. But with what was said earlier about his dad who he was pretty much the main care taker for seemed to take a toll on him this last year. So he went. I think he wanted his dad to see him go bc his dad was x navy and x airforce. Did over 20 years combined! Such a great man and i was glad to know him the past 2 years. But we all just have to keep our heads up. I don't know what to expect in the near future for me. Its a day by day thing. Keep your phone on you from here on out! Lol. I will be doing the same. Let me know when you get a call... And that goes for everyone who is reading this post. I want to share all the excitement with you guys as we all did with the first letters!
I got letters today, too! All ELEVEN of them!  It absolutely made my day :)
I never got a call today!! I had my phone glued to me today (well I do everyday) but never received a call.. he wrote me in one of his letters that he said they might be able to make a phone call this sat, but that could change. So i'm assuming something came up or something and they weren't able to call, but thats weird how one of you did get a call!!
Hey guys if anyone is available Tuesday mornings at 11 am est. I need help answering the navy trivia question in hopes we can get a pic of our boys!!!
