Hey! That's awesome! Are you going to PIR?

He will be going to school in Florida for aviation mechanic. What is your boyfriend going for?

Yes I am. A little nervous though because Ive never been to chicago and Ive never flown alone or any of that stuff. I dont know what its called but I know he will be staying in IL till July. :(

Oh good! Me too!! Yeah thankfully my mom is going with me! I'm from Texas and I've never been that far north so Im really excited to see it! I know my SR has to stay in FL for 6 weeks. July is a long time!

We will be at PIR. I wish my son was going to Pensacola since we live near Daytona but no such luck he is going to Tx.

Claudia he should have gotten that info. when he did his soft swear. My son knew back in July. What is his job and maybe we can narrow it down for you.

He is doing the electrical stuff on the ship... =/ I dont know if that narrows it down. haha sorry that is all he told me.

dcbice99,

I sure wish we could trade places!!!! I live in Texas!

lol me too.

Where in Texas, San Antonio?  If so, Iive an hour away from there.  If u guys need anything plz let me know, glad to help

Hi Cody's Babydoll, My son Anthony is in the same ship/division. Where are you flying from? Isn't it nerve racking to try to figure all this stuff out?

Im flying from Texas! Yes it is but Im slowly learning it!

Yeah! Longhorn country!! I guess you could be from anywhere, ha ha! So what is your name, other than Cody's Babydoll? Very sweet, by the way. I suppose we'll meet at PIR, can't wait!! I understand that staying in Gurnee rather than Waukegan has it's benefits... more national chain restaurants and more to do. It's about the same distance away from base too. What a nerve racking situation we're all in. Having to make these plans without knowing when, what, or how, ugh!!!

Good luck with all your planning and I'll make sure I find you.

Rose

Rose what airport do u suggest I book my flight to?  What hotels, if you know would be best as location and closest to base where we will be for PIR.  I am looking and it's so stressful since I know nothing any where in that area.  Do you think it will still be cold when we go to PIR?

Any helpful information will be greatly appreciated.  Thanks!!
