Have a great trip ...  :-)
Yes Have a great trip! I spoke to Jensen's recruiter, he assured me that she would still get the letters I sent. It is so stressful not hearing from her. I race to the mailbox every day.    Thaks for your help with the address. I should have asked you before! Your the best. Hope to hear from you again soon.
ok .. so I finally did it ... hadn't cried (been anxious and nervous, yes .. but no crying yet) since she left .. until today. Got home after some errands and rushed to the mailbox ... still no form letter or any kind of letter.  ugh. So, I called her recruiter just to double check that I really shouldn't be concerned. I could hug that young man -- so reassuring (he really is in the right job -- he knows how to deal with nervous moms :-).  Anyway .. he assured me that it's not unusual for it to take anywhere from 2 to even 4 weeks to hear something.  He said there has been no change in her address (division number), so we're still good on that, and he said that if there were a problem of any kind he would have had some kind of notification -- and he hasn't had anything like that. He said that if we don't get something in the next week to call him back and he'll see if he can check with RTC. So .. tell me please .. why is that I break down and cry AFTER I get that reassurance??  (Seriously, I do feel so much better after talking to him .... :-)  still want that letter though!! lol
Oh Laura! I feel you.. I call and rattle on the Jensen's recruiter. I haven't gotten anything either. I cry everyday! You will now be free to cry more LOLOL! I have slowed down a bit. I had the wrong address and gave it to all her friends! Talk about a crisis moment! I sent you a private message!  I write my daughters name on here..not sure if I should but o well. Talk soon, hang in there!
I just received my first letter today (2/11/11) from my daughter on the same ship/division.  She seems to be doing well.  she friended a few girls and is making this new life a little more bearable!   She is Ship 7 / Div 112

yay!  That's great! So encouraging to hear when another recruit in the same division is doing well .. :-)

And, welcome!  Our little group of "Ship 7 Div 112" mom's is growing .. heh heh!  Fingers crossed that we'll get something tomorrow (even just the form letter would make me very happy) .. :-)

It is great to have more people with girls in our division/. I wonder if they are friends. Ask names in your letter-when we get them:) and we'll see. Hang in there everyone!!
Glad to hear from you!  I was wondering when more would mom's would join our little group! I haven't checked the mail yet..I might be alittle afraid
I'm so glad I found this group! My daughter is in this division, all I've received so far is a box of clothes. I was expecting the form letter by now. I'll feel much better once I've heard from her and how she's doing. We are planning to attend graduation and anxious to make plans...
HI, Nice to have you on board. A few of us have gotten letters in the last day or two. Hang in there..they will come. I sent you a friend request. We talk just betwwen us or others in our group only. If you like. Talk to you soon.
Hi -- welcome.  Yes -- as Jensensmom said -- just hang in there.  I was going a little crazy this week too - finally called our recruiter yesterday and he reassured me. It's not unusual for it to take more than 2 weeks (he's known some to take as long as 4 weeks - I suspect that's not often though). Anyway -- happily, we finally received our form letter AND a real letter from our daughter just today -- 2 1/2 weeks after she left. So -- I'll bet you receive something in the next week.
Hi All, I got another letter today! Much more upbeat! She sounds good! I hope you all are feeling better about your girls! I know I am! Talk soon!
