I found this out from my recruiter, it may or may not be correct, and i really hope we make it into this PIR!  Waiting on the form letter.    Anyone else have this ship and div?

i thought i read that the 900 series div was for prior ROTC kids, and my son has 3 years ROTC, so i am surprised he is not in that div.

I am going to mail a test letter to see if it works!

Thanks for your reply. I hope so too..

I am so happy for you, Carrie. No letter yet ;'(  When did you get yours?

Do you know what happened to rpgolfmom? She is no longer a member...

Just got it today.    It was very short and too the point, saying they were very rushed still.  Hopefully this sunday more time to write.    I see that she is not on Facebook either, not sure what happened?

Thanks, Carrie. Hopefully,  there is a letter waiting for me at home right now ;)

Got a letter yesterday, but still no phone call.  Letter sounded kinda frustrated but hopefully it will get better once they aren't so busy.

I got my letter, FINALLY!!! He is doing great but not too crazy about the food. His letter dated July 1st and he said that they were on the last day of week 1. He also said that they might be getting a call home soon, I can't wait to hear his voice.

My son is also Ship 09 Div 247 and I thought for sure we would of received our phone call yesterday but no such luck. I have also not received a letter yet. My son's friend's mom did receive her first letter on Saturday dated June 28th. Hopefully mine will there when I get home today.

My recruit just called back again for 5 more minutes needing more info.   He also added that they have weapons inspection today and for every hit they loose 1 min of phone calls (so it could be a quick call!) should be this afternoon.  And today is week 2 day 5.

Wow, you must be on cloud nine. Are they still on day 5 of week 2? Hope they all hit their marks, fingers crossed ;)

Got a phone call this everning around 5:15! Great to hear his voice and sounded so much better than his letter.  He did say that things are going well and getting a little easier.  Hope everyone gets a call soon!

Yay! Our SR won a 10 min call!!! :)

WOW! AND ANOTHER ONE. TWO CALLS WITHIN 10 MIN WOO HOO!!!!!!!!
