we are counting down the days. my girls are writing their brother their first letter today and adding pictures. i know he will be very excited
it does get a little easier although i still find myself wanting to call him and ask him a question or text him a questions. just the other day his sister wanted to text him a picture of us but then realized she couldnt. we have a count down on our phones that let us know exactly how long we have. not sure i want it or not but my daughters do and so does his girlfriend....I basically rely on God everyday and know that he is in charge and watching over all of our recruits.
trust me I am sad and proud and scared all at the same time but I know God is in controll and watching over him for me. We were told his grad date is 9-11. we cant wait to see him. i told my girls to think of it as he is at college except we cant call skpe or text him. the girls are going to learn letter writing quickly!
my 10 year old is hanging tough and staying strong. she said she was going to be that way because that is what her bubby told her to do.... gotta love my little girls!
Nikki, I left info on your My Page.
I keep thinking back to the sunday before kaleb shipped out july 12th. he had asked that we all go to church as a family so we did. we are big into going to church. my girls love it. summer is always hectic though. how fitting that we did communion that morning. I hope it is a start for him to start going back to church every sunday. I know they get that option at training.
anyone else in Ship02 Div 944
