Booked my hotel tonight....can't wait!  Got a good price at the Ramada and it's got a lot of amenities including shuttle to graduation and continental breakfast.  YAAYY!

Glad you got your hotel, we got ours to at Residence Inn, hoping we get to the Ramada for their meet n greet my daughters boyfriend in flying in from SanDiego and doesnt land till 5 then we-ve got that hour drive up.  Anyway, I am sure we will meet.
A friend of mine also suggested to bring a small state flag for PIR so they can see a good representation of where are Sailors are hailing from, I should be getting mine in the mail tomorrow.'

One more thing, I can't get rid of my group ship11/121 off my page, do you know how to do that?  Thanks

Where's the residence inn located?  What nights did you book the hotel for?  I'm getting real excited about graduation.  I have a feeling we'll be getting letters hopefully some time this week:)   Let's think good thoughts!   Where did you get your state flag from?  That's a good idea!

If you go to your discussion under the pir 4/8/2011 group, at the top it'll have options click on that you'll see delete discussion which is the 4th one.  Let me know.  I'm sending you a message, too!

Residence Inn is in Wakegen.  Ordered the flag for Onlinestores.com(united states-state flags) they are only like 8.00.   I will try deleting that again.
We checked in to the Holiday Inn because we had a stepbrother graduate the beginning of February and they said it was really nice.  The want payment up front though.  I don't mind saving the reservation now but they go ahead and charge your credit card.  Have any of you encountered this?
Our grad date is official!  It's on the website...yippee! :) http://www1.netc.navy.mil/nstc/rtcgl/upcoming_grads.asp

I can't get this to open - is there another way to access?
Good morning everyone, how's everyone doing? Any updates from your recruits?
Its great to see that one letter at the bottom of the mail box and know, its the letter! I have it with me continously safe and warm! I wonder too what he is up to. I like to see the daily pics that NRTC shows, and hoping I get to see a glimpse of  my son. its still good to know this will make him think, that the world is not about having fun, but responsiblity to others now. to take care of us and to guard us...in so many ways. I love you my son.
What is the link to the site for the pictures?
Go to PIR 4/8/2011 look under discussion forum click on view all and there is a discussion about photos, keel and dvd.  This has a lot of information about pictures and also the contact persons name.
Very well said, brought tears to my eyes. Our kids have made a very brave and courageous choice. I am so very proud!
