My son's on Ship 2, Div-925 anyone else with an SR in that group?  We can all comment and keep in touch here in this thread. Looking forward to input from everyone as we share this experience of our SR's progress through boot camp.

Thank You! I will be watching like a hawk! I'm so glad we can take all the pieces from everyone's letters, and see what's going on. :)

Morning everyone!

I am going to be ordering ribbons from Lala tomorrow.  If anyone has any thoughts on a color that could represent our division let me know.  It might be a nice way for us all to recognize eachother at the meet and greets and at PIR.

Have a great day!

Wyobraska, my SR knows your SR, the shitter comment has to do with  my survey i sent him i asked about cleaning toliets(now here is what he said about your SR). "He gets 7 letters a day, he's cool, and he cleans the shitters all day". Also in my letter after referring to his 7 letters a day comment, he told me he needs more letters. i was like lakdfnlkanfklksfd, one a day isn't enough from me?! You all must send out a lot of mail everyday (: Some of the other SR's are clearly jealous *cough cough* mine. haha.

Also the SR that went to medical for fainting and passing out came back last monday [= my SR said they are on laundry crew together while doing laundry he would doze in and out and stop breathing. But thank gosh he is all better(:

Adrienne!  You just made my day!  Your post made me laugh so hard!  My son told us when he called that he was in charge of cleaning the "shitter". Wish I could have convinced him to clean his bathroom when he was home :)

We have a really big family.  My son has lots of Aunts and Uncles and 12 first cousins and tons of friends from scouting.  I guess everyone must be writing him because I am only sending him one a day.  I guess this is one time where it pays to have a big family :)

Thanks again for sharing!  I better go!  I need to write my SR a letter :)

Well im happy i made your day!(:
Did anyone else's SR tell them that we get to see them before graduation?! My SR in two letters has said I will get to see him before graduation. Just didn't know if anyone else was told this too.

Hi All!

Good Morning!

I just ordered my ribbons for PIR from Lala!  I can't wait to see them.  The pictures all look so cute!

If anyone else from division 925 would like to order the same color so we can find eachother at PIR, I ordered Navy Blue with Silver letters.  See you all in 16 days!

Can't wait! They will be so busy these last 2 weeks!

I so wanted to get the ribbons from LaLa, but being crafty, I wanted to make my own using the Challenge coins I got for grad gifts. I can't wait till they get here, just worried they may be a little too big, (and heavy) and I will be in a last minute scramble to improvise! Probably should have ordered Lala's just in case! But, I'll just scramble if I have to.

These are the details my SR shared in his letter....

The letter was written on Sunday, 15 April – Hell Week went really well.  They (and I don’t know if that is the whole DIV 925, or a subset thereof) “flagged every inspection and finished 1st in our training group.” If all continues to go well they “will graduate as the 1st integrated Hall of Fame division, and 1st triple threat Hall of Fame Division….Pretty big deal”…..YEA!!!!!

Their scores: 4.8 – personal inspection; 4.7 – weapons turnover; 4.5 - PFA, 4.5 – Test #2; and 4.8 - drill inspection. “Highest scores they have seen from Triple Threat”……YEA AGAIN!!!!

Confirmed that they will be performing at the upcoming graduations.....ANOTHER YEA!!!

They earned a trip to the NEX this coming weekend…..and he “thinks” they get phone calls!!!!

So, so happy to hear from him!!

OMG! Tears in my eyes! So proud of our SRs! OMG! This is such awesome news! I made 3 phone calls and ran to his GFs in the middle of writing this comment! I hope so much that they get the achievements!

OMG This is great news!!! So much info!!!! Thank you, you made my day. Something to tell the hubby when he gets home. Just checked my mailbox and nothing But..... Maybe tomorrow!!! I'll be stocking the facebook page next week, hope we get to see our SR's!!

Congratualtions to div 925- that is double awesome !!!! Those "kids" are showing what they are made of ...and the moms couldn't be more proud! (isn't great that we know what they are talking about and what it took to earn? thanks to N4M!) HOO YAH!!!!!

GF just called with short summary of her letters.  She was on the way to class, so she will call later with more detail.

SR stated that they should get phones calls on Saturday, get to go to Subway (I know he is stoked about that, last survey said he could not wait to have a "made to order" meal).  And that they should get computer time also.

He said they (drill team) would be preforming next Friday, (letter dated 4/15) so hopefully that is tomorrow and pics will be posted!!!!  CAN'T WAIT!!!

Ordered ribbons from Lala, Navy Blue with silver lettering.  Can't wait to get those!
