Choose your Username. For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either). Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Make sure to read our Community Guidelines and this Navy Operations Security (OPSEC) checklist - loose lips sink ships!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

A quick note here: Last Names of Recruits/Sailors are not allowed on this site. If it is different from your Recruits it is still not recommended. First Names and pictures of your Recruit are allowed but remember someone can easily match them up with their "mom". So you might want to consider changing your profile picture.

I might have to join the boot camp moms group again just so I have emails to read again even though they don't pertain to me anymore. Thankfully. I wondered why I couldn't find much info about pre-dive school. Maybe people don't get on here as much once they have more contact with their sailors.

EOD Mom - that's too cute! She has red hair and does tend to stand out because of it. She told me early on that the RDCs were calling her 'Red'.

It's so wonderful to hear about everyone's time with their sailors! It sounds like it was amazing! I'm so happy for each one of you!

Juliebelle was so sweet to scan in and send me the division photo taken before graduation. I wasn't even sure my SR would be in it. She was! I never realized how excited and emotional a picture could make me! Thanks again, Juliebelle! It truly did this Momma's heart good to see my girl's sweet face!

I too had heard that these must be paid for by the SRs if paid while in bootcamp...with something in "their names." My son had a VISA card on my account, in his name, and used that after I told him that I wanted to pay for them.

Some ladies have just put the cash into their SR's checking accounts so they can pay with their debit cards.
