Did you receive the form letter or get that info from the recruiter?  Once someone has received the form letter, FTLW and ellen will get the group going for that TG, which we believe will have PIR on 03/01/2013

You may wish to join the group, DEP-Leavin' for Boot Camp in January. You will meet others with loved ones who left the same day or last week who may be in the same TG and have PIR together. I also suggest that you join Boot Camp Moms (and loved ones), PIR Reference Information, and New Members Stop Here. Once you know your SR’s PIR date, watch in Boot Camp Moms (and loved ones) and/or at http://www.navyformoms.com/forum/topics/groups-listed-by-pir-date and join the group for that once it has been created. There will be a lot of great information and support for you in those groups as well as in the PIR group. Be sure to check out the Pages (found under the pictures of the Members) and Discussions within the groups.

The Page, 900 Divisions, within Boot Camp Moms will be of interest to you since you have a recruit in a performing division. I believe that Division 914 is Sticks/Flags.

I received the information from his recruiter. Thanks for all the info...totally clueless here.

You are very welcome.  Welcome to this amazing journey.  Definitely check out the info in the Answers to Common Questions section and in Letter Writing & Fun Stuff/Questionnaires to send to your Recruit within Boot Camp Moms.

I'm so excited for him. I wish I knew what he was doing everyday lol. He left 2  days before his 23rd birthday and although I have given him room to stretch his wings, i'm still that overprotective mother :\

You can get a general idea of what is happening.  Read Arrival and What Happens at the RTC.  There is a link near the top that has a Day by Day.

you are sooooo very helpful

Thanks for that.  I hope you find everything you need and if not, just ask; there are many who have begun this journey ahead of you and will be able to help and you will be able to help those who come after you as well.

My son is Ship 02, Div 914, PIR date of 3/1/13.  His wife just received her first letter from him today.

I see you have joined the PIR group; you may also want to join, or at least check out, Boot Camp Moms (and loved ones), PIR Reference Information, and New Members Stop Here. There will be a lot of great information and support for you in those groups as well as in the PIR group. Be sure to check out the Pages (found under the pictures of the Members) and Discussions within the groups.
