Hi Robbin, my son is. I know how you are feeling today! We had a great family and friends gathering last night which was the best party ever! Lots of love for him. My son is helping me get through this by being excited and positive about his future, that's what we all want as parents :). It's going to be a long two months not seeing his beautiful smile.

Hi!!! This is my second son heading into the Navy; it is easier only because i know what to expect. We are fortunate to live about 40 minutes from Great Lakes. Glad to meet you!!!!
My granddaughter shipped out on Monday 4/2/19 also. Miss her so much already!
My daughter too shiooed out to navy boot camp on 4/2/19 wondering how she is doing God bless our girls

Hey Robbin, with our sons leaving on 4/2, when should we be expecting our form letters? Do you think PIR will be May 31st or June 7th?

Thank you for your knowledge and being there to talk too:-)

You betcha...we are all

sisters bonded by our Sailors!!!

Our son left 4/2 and we just received his letter on Friday, PIR is 5/31. I hope you receive the formal letter soon!!

We should vet our letters this week.  Also i am thinking PIR will be the 31st.  Unless tgey are a PUSH Division, which means they have a shorter boot camp stay.  Don’t count on that, tho.

Great news, thank you! We should get our letters this week.  Also i am thinking PIR will be the 31st.

Here are the links for the May 31st, and the June 7th PIR groups. Be sure to join the group for your recruits graduation date.

PIR: May 31, 2019 TG 30 8 Divisions (213-216, 813, 814, and 930)

PIR: June 7, 2019 TG 31 8 Divisions (217-220, 815, 816, and 931)

Thank you for the good news and information! Time to start stalking my mail carrier! Hahaha..jk.

I see several posts about having females arrive on April 2nd. Seeing that makes me guess that some of you may have recruits end up in the May 24th group.
